Fresh out of the workshop yesterday, the Oakley Design Lamborghini Aventador LP760-2 was unveiled today at Auto Italia Brooklands 2012. It’s the second tuned Lamborghini Aventador after the release of the Mansory Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 presented at the Geneva Motor Show. This time though, the tuning effort is more comprehensive. Aerodynamics, power upgrades and mechanical changes have all been made. This is probably the most extreme Lamborghini to date!
The Oakley Design Lamborghini Aventador LP760-2 gets 27 separate modified parts. As the name suggests, the big headline is the two-wheel drive conversion. An option that saves weight and dramatically changes the Aventador’s handling properties. It saves around 130kg after removing the front differential, drive shafts and other front drivetrain parts. Suspension changes are realised by specialists Intrax.

In terms of aerodynamics. The electronically adjustable rear spoiler has been replaced with a fixed manually adjustable spoiler. Several other modifications have been made including extensions to the front bumper and rear air vents. This aids cooling for the 6.5 liter Lamborghini V12.
Thanks to ECU modifications and a titanium exhaust system, the Oakley Design Lamborghini Aventador LP760-2 produces 783hp. As we said before, this is sent straight to the rear wheels. The new titanium exhaust system also saves around 35kg. New wheels, developed in conjunction with HRE Wheels, feature 5kg weight reductions. Wheel sizes are wider by half an inch at the front and an inch at the back improving road handling and counteracting the rear bias.
Oakley Design intend to make five examples of the Lamborghini Aventador LP760-2, orders for three have already been taken. This is the most extreme variant. Most owners will opt to retain the four-wheel drive system, however, those who want the full experience have the option of the conversion. We’re told that Oakley Design will head over to France over the coming weeks to test the conversion.

Y'see, THIS is what needs to happen anytime Lambo decides to bring out a special edition version. Aventador-J and this one are insane variations of the already menacing beast.

Lambo is the badge that sparked my fascination with cars as a child in the 90s and the company has always stayed consistent with releasing the best looking cars ever. Vulgar design and a monstrous scream.

One thing I dislike though is Mansory and Hamann defacing works of art with their gaudy modifications . I am also against the stupid PR-related stunts like the Ed Hardy and Versace Murcielago. Which btw I saw while at work on Madison avenue a year ago. Blondie inside was almost equal to her car on a scale of 1-10.

Lambo has always been up to these clothing/apparel-related collabs since the 90s with their Diablo VS (Victoria's Secret edition) so that's also one of their consistencies (I guess?). They're forgiven, and this particular Aventador helped the cause.

ahaha can't believe I thought Oakley sunglasses was a part of this. That's the mindset Lambo has placed me in with their useless collabs in the past. teXas thanks for your contribution of criticizing my contribution. This and any Pagani ever made prior to the Huayra are the best looking cars in the world. Lambo sure has come a long way from ripping headlights out of 300ZXs for their cars. Would love to see this in Atlantis Blue.

This Oakley design lambo is dumb. The spoiler does not match the shape of the body and looks out of place. The orange is ugly as well.
