Sorry for the delayed response. Back from a 2000 km road trip.

Thanks for the comments and replies.

Its silver carbon fiber. The real pieces are shiny due to the clear coat on top. The cf style wrap is in a matte finish.

Yea those lists can be depressing. I still keep track for maintenance reasons but stopped counting the dollars really, once I got depressed from surpassing the lease amounts on a 2012 5 series.

This only makes me wonder if the BMW longevity transferred into the new models..

If it did..I plan on picking up a 4.4L v8 in a year or two.
To me, a big part of longevity is preventative maintenance.

People say the bmw's aren't built like they used to be unfortunately. Maybe this new generation will bring a change.

Are we talking F10 M5 kind of 4.4L? I'm jealous.

I had never considered that before...

...And did some math...

I could swing a brand new 328i.

Not that I really want one, but, like, dammit.

Hey welcome back, nice E39, they are lovely :-)

You know what would make that car insanely beautiful though....M5 wheels...

Dude it needs it and you know it!

Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of the 6-series esqe rims on there.

The 5-series rims are much better.

Still a nice ride though, and thanks for the pictures!

The Miro reps never look great when they are undersized, as in, smaller than the actual M6 wheels.

As for the car itself, any E39 in this condition deserves respect.

Keep the rims. They're like an updated M-parallel, and are meaningfully different as such.

Also, that car looks fantastic.

Thanks all for the feedback. The m6 reps always gets differing opinions, I can't decide myself sometimes if I like it or not. Haven't thought of it as updated M-Parallels before

M5 wheels are really nice, but everyone does it.

There's a reason for that...

Dude, it's not like there is just droves of E39 M5's and other 5 series with those wheels.

Different =/= Better

Sometimes it can be, but not always.

Either way, your car does look sweet and I'm not trying to take away from it at all.
