lol, well, what does "adjusted for maximum oversteer" mean to everyone else? A thicker bar in the front will make any car--I don't care what it's drivetrain layout is--understeer more at low speeds, even if it's adjustable. It's basic chassis tuning.

If the only problem you're having is over and understeer issues, the first natural fix is sway bars, straight up. If you're satisfied with how the car rides and handles otherwise, that's the only thing you should worry about. You won't shred the outsides of your front tires if the car doesn't understeer.

You could replace the front bar with something less thick, like a stock bar, and that would be fairly cheap, especially if you gutted it from a junkyard car.

The other option would be just redoing the suspension all together and going for something stiffer in the rear as far as shocks and springs go.

Also, as someone else said...it's a sedan. Really. Should you really worry about "excessive" understeer on a daily driver sedan with a lump of iron on the front wheels? Maybe you should just drive less enthusiastically to save tires. lol

Aluminum intake 90% finished on VR6. We built it yesterday.

I also have two other projects just sitting waiting to be built.

I am going to take my old '99 Yamaha TTR 225 and turn it into a dual sport. No real reason, just to have a bike for the street. I have been missing riding since I sold my R6. This might fill the gap. Might not.

Also, I found out that a 1.9L TDI manifold/turbo (they are one piece) will bolt straight up to any old VW 8v gas head. My '84 Jetta Coupe has a 1.7L engine, and I have a free TDI manifold/turbo in my garage so it should make a hint more power at around 8psi.

Switch panel finally fitted. Need to do a few things to make it to where I'm solidly happy with it. That said, megasquirt properly mounted and the wiring is almost completed. It's coming along quickly on the wiring side as well as cleanly. I'll get some pics soon. I planned on yanking the engine last week, but since I'm already making good progress on wiring, I may as well just finish it up. Harness bar is also on it's way along with some other goodies.

Ouch...Go on then where's the invoice total??

Ordered an OEM trip computer for my Focus recently (second hand). That's about as exciting as modifications are going to get on this car unfortuantely! Still...50mpg +....

I don't think I ever showed you guys what my 924 looked like when I got it. Tonight I started the process of carpeting it. While I'm no upholstery professional or anything, at least it will cut down on glare for me and other drivers and look halfway presentable.

Just so you know where it's coming from...

Sneak peak of tonight.

I sold the crap seats to a local kid a long time ago. He wanted some crappy seats to practice upholstery on. Sold them to him for $20 lol.
