Default TVR Sagaris

Gotta question for all TVR lovers (and those who don't love us)

Do you think that the new Sagaris (released at MPH03 in London in October last year) is a bit too extreme??
This is the picture TVR sent me..

and this is the car on the day of release (yes, typical england, its raining!)

The car has 400bhp with 400lb/ft of torque (car only weighs 1 ton) - there is going to be a more powerful version this year (rumoured 500bhp, so 500lb/ft torque ). With the new regulations being imposed in the EU, TVR is fighting a dying battle .
I've seen the car and I love this beast - its everything a TVR should be. Clarkson, Tiff Needel and Richard Hammond also love it!
It has NO ABS, TCS or any driving aids - only seatbelts!

I'm positive there was an older topic about the Sagaris... (by CarRocker)
Anyway, I totally looooooooooooove all TVRs, including the new Sagaris. They have sth special that makes me totally lose my senses. It's a combination of the exclusive design, the rarety of them (never seen one), and the sheer driving pleasure they provide...

First, whats up with the rear bumper? It looks like it's falling off. Second, why such a strange interior. Thrid, whats with all the vents?

thats a classic TVR interior - i love it.

As i said before i love the car apart from the rear spoiler - its clear and i dont think it suits the car + its angles at about 80 degrees!

Default TVR sagaris

This car is possibly the most exciting project ever done by any manufacturer in modern times.
It took 3 and a half months from drawing board to completion of a working model and confirmed spec, thats impressive, because you know the design was not really thought about that much which is why its so good because it goes against the norm.
The scoops are for aerodynamics and also to act as a heat vent for the tyre regions where the brakes will e delivering huge heat emissions, anyway it would be a ******* to clean!

If you look closely at the side pic, you will notice that there is a big carbon fibre exhaust coming out the side (90 degrees to rest of car), so thats why its "falling off".
The interior is only a concept, but apparently is very aesthtic if you are driving on the limit! - btw thats the gear lever, not a random bit of metal.. :P
The vents are for cooling, distinguishing looks, and also the word Sagaris means battle axe in Viking or something, so I think they made their point there too!

Indeed, there are already two topics about it. But that doesn't care, because it is a great car. I love it, like al TVR's

Here are some more pics:

Yeah, cool photo's, they were taken at MPH03 where Amanda Stretton (TVR LeMans driver) was telling us (the crowd) about the new car.

Also that Yellow TVR is hers that was used in the BGT championship and LeMans - it was VERY Loud!! And didn't have enogh steering lock to get out from the back of the stage, it sort of slowly drove into the wall and had to be pushed back!

These are footage that I took at MPH03:

The Sagaris Arrives (Tiff Needell) - 727KB
Info on the Sagaris (Tiff Needell & J.Clarkson) - 2.96MB
The Racing TVR - 1.12MB

I've reduced the quality to make the file sizes better. Please tell if the links work or do not work because I am using a new FTP server and do not know if it is working properly!

EDIT:
-->> The server is different to what I had before and it isnt working, if anyone can give me help as to how to link to the files, I would be very grateful...e-mail me at subarukid37@hotmail.com

Is it just me, or does the Sagaris look like the Batmobile in the Batman movies?

all those holes make it a bit of a like it or loath it, all the different design techniques make it a bit overwhelming to look at
