Gee the interior still looks almost like mine, 6 years newer.

Love the car, definitely going to be my next new purchase. Maybe next year.

That's pretty cool. I like that they pumped the power up in that 2.0L to 272hp. I won't be completely satisfied with Audi until they bring the S3 to the states. That's easily my favorite Audi.

That looks pretty good. I like the new wheels and the interior and the power upgrade. Looks good overall.

The interior looks VERY similar to mine and mine is not new. I was surprised at how much the interior did NOT change.

LSixer, you're right about your "Location." The new car's interior is not only very different, but in fact much improved over that of your car. It happens, get over it. One of my profs let me drive his new TT quattro, and while it was still no sharpedged sportscar, the latest generation is a marked (if still overpriced) improvement over its predecessor.

Dude. I look at the pics, and I sit in mine every day. They are VERY close. No denial necessary.

Have you seen the Mk1's inside, it appears not.

Sure, Audi kept what can now be considered classic TT interior styling cues, but the new car has an almost Gallardo-like ("jetfighter-esque" at risk of overglorifying it) driver centricity that the outgoing one didn't. I'm a fan of the old car, and it was great for its time, but we shouldn't cheapen the significance of the latest generation's improvements just because the two share "baseball glove" seat-stitching and airvent styling.

Anyway, I was a dick in my last post (boredom brings out the worst?). Sorry.

It was smart on Audi's part having the four banger be the engine for this car. Keeps things square and balanced. The TT verges on being front heavy with the V6.

Sucks that we don't get a stick shift here in the states, but I'd never actually buy this car, so I guess it doesn't really matter.

Nothing like it... Take away the circle air vents and you'd think it's a totally different car.

Where do you see the similarities, apart from the gearleaver and its surround, the badge and the circular air vents?
