Sad news
GAZ abandoned 3115 due to lack of money, as always... Instead they concentrate their efforts on restyling the rear part of old Volga 3110. They also plan to rework its rear suspension (31105 still has leaf-springs) |

In Tomsk (it's situated in the central part of Russia) there's about 50% of Russian cars (Ladas, Volgas, Izhes) and all the rest are mostly second hand from Japan. New cars are becoming popular too, like Ford Focus, Kia Rio, Hyundai Accent (all of them are assembled in Russia), Mitsubishi Lancer, Toyota Corolla, old Daewoo Nexia (still produced in Uzbekistan) and some others.
It's also true for the Western part except that they buy used cars from Europe mostly. And in the Eastern part of the country they drive mostly used cars from Japan. My father has 1998 Lada Samara 21099. He bought it in 2001 for $3000 and now he's going to sell it for $3500 Thanks to VAZ for raising the prices of new cars in last 4 years Now new Samara costs around $6500 - $8000.Malin, I know nothing about 3111. Maybe you're right. And you are welcome to our small dirty town Btw you can get some views of cars in Tomsk here: http://www.cardatabase.net/search/se...ya%20Plekhanov |

Aleksander, that's because they were sold only in Japan.
