Default Ferrari F40

I'm not a huge Ferrari fan but this is one of my favorite supercars. It's so wild and crazy looking I love it. The styling and the huge wing say it all. If I ever saw someone pull up in one of these mofos I'd know they we're both insanely rich and just plain insane. It was built to celebrate Enzo Ferrari's 40 year marque. Oh and 478hp, 426lb-ft torque. Top speed of 200mph and 0-60 in just 3.9 seconds with a twin turbo V-8. It has a tubular steel chassis and lacks ABS so I guess you could say its inferior by todays standards, but it was made in 1987 for god's sake. Amazing.

Here's one with images of an 88' model:http://www.allsportauto.com/english/...mp;zl_idMD=159

Yeah the F40 is one of my 5 favorite Ferraris. In 1987 that car was untouchable.
It was Ferraris second supercar, after the 288 GTO, another beauty.

hmm, not sure if i agree with the way thats been pit.
The F40 wasnt anything like a replacement to the 288.
I wouldnt say the 288 was a supercar in the same was an F40 is - they are 2 very different ferrari's.

I guess it would be limited production cars, not supercars then.

I totally love the F40. It was fast as hell and wicked looking. A pure supercar, although I believe that the F50 was much better.

According to Ferrari it was, their four supercars are: 288 GTO, F40, F50 and the Enzo Ferrari. Says it on Ferrari.com.

yeah i see that, but what im saying is that a 288 is so different to an F40, I dont think it is right to say that the F40 is a replacement to the 288
