These are the latest pictures of the stunning BMW M6 coupe, and its coming in a convertable as well, and a CSL in a few years
![]() ![]() This will feature an engine from a new M5 of modular units, a 40-valve 5.5-litre V10 with an estimated 500bhp. This engine will also feature in the upcoming M5. Acceleration 0-100 km/h is predicted to be well below five seconds, and top speed over 300 km/h, though this is likely to be electronically limited to 250 km/h. ![]() The M6's suspension will be similar to that of the M5, much lower and stiffer than that of the 645i, and there is likely to be the option of six-speed manual or six-speed auto transmission. It won't be the quickest 6, however: a lightweight M6 CSL with carbon-fibre panels and an extra 50bhp is also tipped to be on the way, though not for at least three years. The 'standard' M6 coupe is expected to be launched in 2005, with convertible versions following ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

It sounds like an awesome car but the pictures don't work.

I'm not sure if it is a gentlemens agreement, I think it's a kind of a law for German cars.
And a small correction for Subarukid, the V10 engine will be 5.0 lt. The car is gonna rock the world. I haven't decided which one I like the best, this one or the M5... ![]() |

Yeah man it would probably rock the world. But how many would actually afford this car? The 645 Ci is already very expensive so you gotta have deep pockets for this car. I would prefer with no hezitation the new M3 and do some work to the engine and save the extra money. I still prefer a lighter car with lower hp figures and then throw in a few bucks raise the figures as much as i can and then play with it. I mean you can give me a merc s klasse with 700 hp and i can asure you it cand't compare the feeling with an M3 with 400 hp or so or with a superchrged S2000 but that is only my opinion and my way of thinking at least till i rech 40-50 years old.

I agree with you. I'd probably prefer the M3 too. It is also more compact and easier to cope with.

It's bad news when you're trying to pack for a trip though. I'd rather the larger car, more interior space and more cargo space and still very good performance.
