nice...very clean indeed, though i prefer classic cars that're restored as much as possible back to when they first came off the assembly line this beetle looks abit 'pimped out' to me, with the lowered front end and the loud interior.

Very nice beetle. Clean as hell. Only thing i have alwqys hated about tunned beetles is the engine cover never closes agqin. And that sucks. Other than that, i would love to have one.

You have some serious problems, really you do, the VW Beetle is THE car, not any car, but THE car.

true, but I think that's something that gives the car some personality, different, I like it, not overdone, just awesome.

Very, very nice!

Kind of funny how the 4-pt harness are at the back while the driver has a more normal 2-pt!

The project seems to have been carried out very nicely but it seems kind of difficult to drive the car "properly" with such seats and steering wheel. Guess it's the problem of keeping it retro.

Very nice, I say again, but the original thing they started with may be simply too bad to make something too good out of it. Wonder how it drives.

That's pretty cool, I don't like the back because the engine cover doesn't close. as what Cooper "s" said

I love this car.

I adore Beetles, and this is a great example of what can be done with one.

Awesome Beetle dude! Nice to see a proper Beetle! (Not those excuses called the "New Beetle" that have little to do with the original).

I'm sure Ferdinand Porsche would be pround

It's called a raked stance. And it is pretty common.

What's not to like about a car that you can lift the engine out of, by yourself without a hoist, and plop it on a work bench and rebuild it...?

Actually there are adapter kits so you can close the engine cover, not sealed close, but at least so it doesn't lift while running, and you can push front the engine, there's a bit more space between the rear seats and the engine... bay?

I saw the thread yesterday and spent like three minutes just looking at the pics. That thing is awesome.
It's so beautiful I couldn't bring myself to drive it if I owned it. And that's my problem with cars like these. It's an affordable car that was built to be driven every day, so turning it into a show car kinda ruins it.
