1091hp??
That's even more than the mighty mighty Veyron lol haha. Anyway, that thing will go like hell if it does make it into production but will look nothing like it. It looks especially cool in that red colour aswell, I think.

Dam that looks amazing. The body looks like it has just been draped over the 4 wheels, it looks like a stealth car. So much presense.
As for the performance, a bit over the top. I would prefer a lower power lower weight version that would be useable day to day.

Those numbers are meaningless. Looks like they pulled them out of their @$$. Top speed is probably derived from aerodynamics testing...aka complete BS. If they truly were able to develop a battery-driven motor system that can deliver that much power to the wheels, I would be extremely interested in seeing the details.
Such a radical change in automotive technology will not see reality in the next several decades. And if it does, it would cost Audi and the consumer way too much money to produce and maintain. Nonetheless, this is an inspiring concept for the next generation of the automobile industry. |

It's the same with the SSC Ultimate Aero, they based the top speed of it on wind tunnel testing.

Shouldnt the 0-60 time be faster with over 2000 poundfeet of torque at such a wide range?

^Its a really heavy car though.
You can't disregard stats I would just rather an internal combustion engine. Like hydrogen. I wouldn't say it looks good but it is really agro and muscular (spelling).

Looks very nice. But seriously, I doubt they will ever bring out that car, and *if* they do, it wont be for years yet. Unless they use it as some F1 car or something :S

^ Electric motors are known to have ridiculous amounts of torque, thats why this figure is not really surpricing after you look at the output...

I don't even see how that would work though with that much torque. The Veyron will spin the tires from a stop if you floor it, and it's got AWD and weighs a lot. You can't floor it in the S7 in first gear or else you'll be spinning the tires all the way to 2nd gear, so how in the hell could you get traction with over 2000 ft lbs? Unless you used slicks, but then it wouldn't be street legal.
