Aston Martin V8 Vantage.
I haven't seen a topic yet for this car, and if it has been already made, it's been way too long to revive.
So why a topic about this car? A better question - why not? This car was first shown at Geneva and it's only now that preliminary driving reviews have surfaced. So I think it's a good enough time to post a topic on this wonderfully gorgeous car. People might complain it looks too similar to a DB9, but what's to complain? The DB9 is absolutely gob-smackingly gorgeous, and a smaller and a more aggressive version can't hurt anyone. According to reports, this car is the best Aston Martin ever, and judging from the pictures and specs, I can't seem to disagree. But will this car have enough punch to knock off the 911 and give Aston Martin the credit it deserves? Nice thread Top Secret, good layout. An amount of effort put in with all the references, links, bold style writing and underlining.
Awsome car, I love those lights. Also, some people think of the V8 Vantage as the car you get if you can't afford a DB9 but it's really a whole different lifestyle. This is a car you choose, not because you can't spend another ? grand for the V12. This car might steal some of the DB9's thunder. I'm loving the exterior but the interior just looks like a DB9's minus some wood and brushed-alluminium. Six speed sounds good and I can't wait to see one. Was that some good bull**** there Top Secret.lol -edit- Actually that's quite true, I'm proud of myself. No more one-liners from me.lol

i prefere the v8 looks than the db9 but can someone plz tell me, is the db9 more powerful?
Ps. the v8 is now in my top ten cars, i love it!!!

I absolutely love this car. The styling is perfect. This is the rare instance in which I can't find a single styling detail that doesn't fit my taste. The front end has the perfect balance of aggressiveness and grace and that follows through to the back. The interior is just as hypnotizing. I prefer this more than the DB9, maybe because I've always had something for “compact” cars lol. Although I almost can't stand to even look at this car because I know I'll never be able to afford it. Well maybe when Kirstyn and I tie the knot, Daddy Warbucks will buy us one as a wedding gift.  |

there was one at the resort that i work at. it looks even better up close and it sounds so good. one of the classiest cars there are too IMO

Is it just me or does Aston M need to vary a little its cars, man they all look exactly the same...vanquish, db9 this one, its like "man we have a good car design" and they use it for everything now.

i like the fact it has the same dials as the DB9, they're amazing, but yeh a car to compete with what exactly? is way too underpowered for F430s, porsches are less expensive lambos are more expensive and have more power than the ferraris, so where exactly does this car fit in?
