but if it's a water-air intercooler..

unless they have some magical source of creating water (the perfect combustion mainly) and haven't made trillions of dollars hording this technology to governments...

the water-air intercooler idea is st00pid

i can't remember the last time i saw a factory car with heat wrap on charge piping.....

and it looks like these tubes are a bit further away from engine heat than the benz's

The ZR1 uses a dual brick air-to-water intercooler as well, just to add to the list.

As for the engine, I've gotta think that the seven speed might be a touch unneccesary for this engine. Hopefully, we'll see some decent efficiency gains.

Other than that, the trend of ever increasingly ugly engine bays continues unabated.
