Z06 + Nurburgring...really, need I get your attention more??

(This is all in the current MT magazine, and well, I won't wait for all of you to read it)

Well, the ultimate racing fanatic track time is in...And it's fast, faster than:
Pagani Zonda, 996 GT2, Lambo's Gallardo AND Murcielago, and SLR (this is tough to believe personally)...

The good number is:
7:42...on street tires nonetheless...

Now, the main reason I have a slight problem with these time's is because Motor Trend's article says the times are from various sources.
And everything I've heard says the SLR and C-GT's time's are similar as hell, whereas MT has the CGT running 7:32, and the SLR at 7:52...which isn't close in anyone's book. 20 seconds a lap on a track isn't even in the same class...Hence my hesitancy with these times. But still, the time is in, and regardless of who you are, on a slightly cool and damp track (done 7am - 8am) with non-slicks, that...is fast frickin' time.

And for 75 grand...really, who can touch that? World: Your move.

No, the Z06's time isn't tough to believe. It's a fact. But the SLR's time is the only thing I don't believe, I've seen the GT2's time's, and yes, it's about 2 seconds slower than the Z06. That's also numerical fact, as would the Zonda's. But still, that SLR time has got to be alot faster than 7:52.

I dunno man, it is a nice car, but they have been havng problems with their venturi ground effects??? maybe just on that day the car was not gripping the road well enough??

yeah thats weird 20 sec lap difference, heh my cooper can do that.

yeah nvm i just cought on to the fact that is a 7min. corse....20 sec on a lap isnt that far fetched. on sucha big corse

SHOOT! 7:42, and on street tires.. that is truly astonishing. Seeing as how production numbers will be fairly large; this car will without doubt, make history.

Chevy has planned to introduce two new RWD concepts to go into production on 2006.

. I haven't really taken a liking to the SSR, and if the Bluedevil is around.... all hell is gonna break lose (Pun intended)
