Hey guys, the same things were talked about the internal-combustion engine some hundred years ago. I think it's one of the first driveable fun electric car on the market and that's an achievement. After 20 years we may talk about electric cars again. What about if they all have the same batteries and instead of refiling gas you leave the your battery and get a charged one? Think about this car in perspective

^^ Very nice thought. I hadn't thought of that before. This might turn out successful after all

Also, the knowledge of "things" in general was so ridiculously bad back then that they honestly didn't know what they hell they were talking about. Think about ALL of the crap you know...well, that's pretty much what the smartest mothers back then knew, if not less.

Also, leaving a battery is retarded, what if some dipshit breaks theirs, and then when they charge it, it doesn't hardly hold a charge. I'd love to get that one from this battery station you talk about.

What I was trying to say is they can improve over the years and if it's cost effective many people would buy it. Look how cell phones ( and their batteries) has improved for the last 10 years... And you're right we know much about petrol cars technology but what about electric one?

On that note, laptop batteries are already the size of rolling pin and can last 48 hours without charging. Yes they will do this to cars, and if supercar companies like Ferrari want to last, they'll have to switch to either biofuel or lithium ion battery cells.

Well, electric cars are just like regular cars, except they have electric motors in them. While I obviously see the future of electric motors as an evolving one that keeps getting better, I honestly don't see them getting a ridiculously amount better. I do see battery technology getting a lot better though. With the current development of micro-capacitors and other power storing technology, electric cars could be a good idea.

Honestly I see that the only thing that replaces REAL gasoline is synthetic gasoline.
