It's not really competition for the viper...it just borrows some of it's traits. I mean, like you mentioned, the specs are noticeable difference, the price difference is huge and it is not in the same style of car. If anyhting it's in competition with the c6 vette, or it's a cheaper viper tuned more into an older, sophisticated look compared to the viper's ridiculous monster sports can look.
