Default Is that true about M.Benz engines?

I have a C 230 Kompressor avantgarde Mecedes-Benz, everybody knows that in the past merc cars was named as "C" = platform, "230" = 2300cc, "avantgarde" = look + interior.
Today´s merc cars arent named in this way, the engine of my car is the same 1800cc engine of the C 180 Kompressor classic, the diference betwen them is the injection chip remaped, the range is from 142hp to 193hp.
Is that true?

well thats true, but i dont think thats why they are named that. most Mercs are still named by their engine size. C240, C32, C55 AMG, so on. i think only the 65 AMG cars arent named after their engine size along with the C230. i guess it just looks better than C180.

Nah, it's all BS. Mercedes cheats on their numbers to make them sound good. All AMGs are 55's or 65's, but MBZ's are usually off by .1 or .2 litres.

What sh*ts me is Ferrari no longer quote single cylinder displacement in their names and displacement all up.

330 P4 for something you like, it was a V12 so 12 x 330 = 3960. It was a good system then in the 80s the changed to centiliters like everyone else

It sort of is. The 600s have a 5.5, the 65s have a 6 litre, and the E200 has a 1.8.
