Top Marques Monaco 2007

Hey everyone,
Well, SubaruKid is off to see some exotics in Orlando, but I'm also going to be getting a piece of "supercar action", as I am heading down to Top Marques... hehe

Anyone care to join me?

And it should be one hell of a show. 50,000 Horsepower under ONE roof (yes, FIFTY thousand horsepower).

Well I haven't got any pics of the show yet (because it hasn't started

), but I figured I'd post this thread before the event has even started so that if you have any requests, just tell me. Like ask questions about particular models, take particular pictures etc... Let me know, through this thread!

I'll be heading down tomorrow morning (opening day) to take some pics on my own. Now, I'm not an excellent photographer, nor have I got an amazing camera, but I will be taking pics that will allow you to see more what the car really looks like... Instead of all those professional photoshots. Get what I mean?

Now I've got a complete list of the exhibitors (see http://www.topmarquesmonaco.com/exhibitors/index.shtml ), but I don't know exactly what models they will be displaying, so what I say next is sort of "guessing". It's a "preivew" of the pics I will post later lol. I highlited the ones that seemed most special, and put a "?" on the ones I'm quite unsure about.
- Audi: R8, S8, S3, S5 (?)
- Aston: Vanquish S, DBRS9 (?), V8 Vantage (Roadster?)
- Porsche: 997 GT3 & GT3 RS, 997 Turbo, new Cayenne, Cayman S, Carrera GT (?)
- Ferrari: F430, 599, FXX (?), 612
- BMW: new X5, M6, M5, new M3 (?), Z4 M, M5 Touring
- Maserati: MC12, Gran Turismo (?), Gran Sport
- Jaguar: XKR, C-FX (?)
- Lamborghini: LP640 (Roadster?), Gallardo Superleggera, Gallardo Spyder (?)
- Pagani: Zonda F, Zonda Roadster F, Zonda R (?)
- Koenigsegg: CCX, CCGT (?), CCXR (?), CCR (?)
- Mercedes: I don't know, they have so many AMG models... But probably the SLR 722, CL 63 AMG and a couple others.
More exclusive makers will of course be present, including: SSC, Carver, Bristol, Radical, Brabus, Bugatti (Veyron, duh!), Spyker, Lotec, Wiesmann, LeBlanc, Venturi, Caparo, TVR, Saleen (S7 TT?), Fisker, Bentley (Brooklands?), Gemballa, Gumbert, Rolls-Royce, Cadillac, Lexus, Lotus (Eleven 2?), Corvette, Mosler and a bunch more...

All the pics I will have taken will be posted in THIS thread. So subscribe to it and everything will be on hopefully by tomorrow mid-day.

Oho, disaster, I just turned on my camera and the screen is cracked... and no longer works.

Nice one, you're so lucky to be able to go, but i'm not complaining, i nearly got a ride in an Invicta last year, but out here i've only been here a day and already spent the day in a Ferrari 550, so i'm loving it

have a great time, take some pics for me (somehow... you HAVE to!!), because you know how much I wanted to be there too!! and how did you get 6 tickets?? I got 2 VIP passes sat at home in my room if any one wants them too

this coming weekend... and try the length of a big country and then enter the Principality... and then find there is no bike rack outside the Grimadi Forum (dont remember seeing one, but there probably is) so you cant leave your bike unattended

Don't worry, I'll probably be taking an excessive amount of pics lol... Free tickets are really easy to get hold of here (because that's not how they really make their money). + my dad got invitations to test drive most of the cars, but he doesn't seem to bothered, f*cking weirdo lol.

You could easily make it before Sunday, as long as you get on to the train a couple of times. I'll give you a ticket lol, for now I only need 4.

Wow, you're very lucky. From the list of cars you wrote in your first post, it seems like there are gonna be a whole lot of cool exotics there. And wow, you have 6 free tickets! Anyways, have fun and make sure you take lots of pics, if your camera is broken then maybe buy a new one, we have to see the pics!

First of all, I was disappointed to see that some of the cars I were expecting to be prensent, were not: Audi R8, Gallardo Superlegerra, TVR Sagaris, Z06, Dodge Viper SRT-10, 997 GT3 (or GT3 RS), Ford GT; BUT they were made up by monsters I was NOT expecting to see... see pictures...

i literally *gulped* when i saw the Cayenne's rear view...its so ugly....

but well, wow those are some nice cars over there, darn, the Cayman S looks awsome with those Turbo rims, gosh, those are very nice cars, you have a nice camera lol! the quality of those pictures are truely awsome...and wow, the A6 looks pretty cool! i like it..and ooo, look at the Enzo behind the Porsches
