I'd go with that GTO, it really convinces me, but I'm not the one looking for a car

Something with brakes. And a little computer that tells you when large unmistakable vehicles ahead of you have reduced speed.

Wow, thanks to EVERYONE for helping me out with this.

All of you are so helpful on here.

Clutch: I like your idea with the 'stang. I live in GA (Georgia if you didn't know that.) and I didn't even think of that.

FerrariEzon: I love ANY M3, but I've never been able to find one in my price range with decent miles, but that's understandable.

lotus racer: I can only find wrecked versions of the MR2. Ha, I guess it's a great car if no one sells their's.

And again I thank you all for the help.

A couple of things, negotiating is fair play, but you are asking to negotiate anywhere between $2-4,000 and that is quite a bit. Next, what is the guarantee that he can find said cars in his area? And I believe you said 06+ CLK.

But congrats on finding the Cobra and GTO. Didn't think the GTO was going to be found for that cheap.

kawi, here are some Mustang GTs within 100 miles of you:

Those are within the past 2 days.. tell me what you like and I can find some better examples. Not all of them fit the criteria, and I didn't include all two door/RWD cars, but those are the good examples. Hell I would be all over that Integra.

Make sure you choose wisely kawi, a car may look good on paper, but will cost you a lot when it breaks or needs service. Also, we weary of buying heavily customized cars or ones that have had complete builds/re-builds.

You never know if the work was done shoddy (i.e. a reliable package) or if the car was abused.

Just some things to look out for. Dropping 11k isn't cheap.

Thanks Attaus. I'm definitely going to look into both the Integra and 240sx. Man, you really know what you're doing with this stuff. Great job man and thanks again.

Haha thanks again Captain Obvious I'll look out for those kinds of things. I'm still young so all the help with the car shopping is welcome. Although most of the heavily modfied cars really catch my eye when I'm looking, I know it's best to stay away from them. I guess that's just the kid in me, always going for the fast ones without even thinking about quality.

The Integra is using all standard custom kit parts.. Turbonetics is a great company, as is Blox, CP, etc.

To be honest, 300whp isn't a lot for those motors. That's good and bad, because you won't risk the motor, but have potential for more down the road.

I would have it inspected at a shop to make sure there aren't any oil or air leaks, but otherwise it looks solid and very clean.

The 240SX has basic bolt-ons so I wouldn't be concerned with modifications. I would still have it inspected though.. as with any car. My two suggestions would be the '98 Cobra with 64k miles and the '00 LS1.. simply because they are easy to work on and maintain. Otherwise the 240 and 'Teg are good options.

EDIT: A couple more..

Like I said.. just make sure you get it inspected.. preferably by someone with experience with modified cars. It will be the best ~$65 you ever spent.

Yes, lets recommend him a hand grenade for a car. Yeah, just after he got in a wreck and we know how he drives as well as his age.

Next, we will be supporting ezon's quest for a 400 hp car.......

I'd roll my eyes more, but I am afraid my optic nerves might rip in the process.

Considering all of those motors are stock and low mileage, and I strongly recommend having them inspected anyway, I really don't see your point. They have roughly the same power as the GT you suggested.

Ladies, ladies calm down. LOL

It's not that I can't handle the power of the cars, I just didn't really cause the wreck IMO. I mean, he DID stop short in the rain. I blame him lol. I'm only seventeen, but I've been driving since i was at least nine. I personally think that I could handle just about anything you hand the keys to me for.

And I'm not trying to get onto anyone I'm just putting my opinion out there.
Oh and it might be because it's 3:00 a.m.
