There are more pictures on the next few Pages on that forum.. I found these pictures on another forum of the now abandoned MG/Rover factory, There are still alot of cars still sitting around many with keys apparently still in them. You would think that a bankrupt company would have at least locked the premises as oppose to leaving it open for anyone to walk through. Pretty interesting... |

Wow those pics are pretty interesting. So many cars are left behind. It's pretty stupid how they didn't lock up the premises like what you said. It looks pretty old and rusty.
Hmm, maybe I'll go there with a whole group of mates, grab all the keys, find the cars, and drive away! You can also see some computers there, might as well take them too, oh and you cant forget the frog in that little container!![]() Wow, and those tunnel pics on page 2 look freaky, the guy that took the pics definitely had the balls to go in!

Those comps arent worth more than the scrap metal thats in them. And those cars are scrap as well, probably factory defects, it would cost them more to haul them away than to just leave them. That place is so tight, its huge, freaking huge. I bet some gang takes up residence in there.

There is definitely alot of stuff in that factory that could potentially be stolen and resold to the public.
If I lived near this factory I would consider taking a bit for myself. |

I stand corrected, mabey they did leave some decent cars after all. But my original statment still holds weight, most of the stuff wasnt taken because it costs more money to take than to abbandon.

Even if some cars were broken down, scrap metal or weren't working, you could just send it to the junkyard for cold hard cash. Or you could disassemble it yourself and keep the valuable parts like the engine the tyres, the bodykit, the rims, the radio etc etc and then sell them.
And yeah, a gang probably takes residence in there. It's a good place for them, so much space to store their guns, graffiti cans, clothes etc etc. ![]()

Awesome, wish I lived near that factory. Sorry Wanna koenigsegg but is MG/Rover bankrupt? Anyway that would be great fun for you and a couple of mates to jack some of the cars, I'm thinking burnouts, racing, demo darbys, the list goes on. Anyone seen Green Street Houligans? If you have I think one of the firms will take up residence in that factory, lol.

oh my wow! thats just awsome...i mean thats jut simply AWSOME!!i would love to live there, no, i really want to, i love the environment over there, i would simply just clean the whole ground with that moldy floor, get those rail roads out if i could and it would be perfect, and wow, those keys all over the table, darn im going to et all of them and try it on all the cars...darn, but its like flooded all over the place under that thing, and gosh, that old mini cooper down there, i wonder what happened! darn, even car crash test cars are there, and look at the TF, it looks pretty neat i think, i would drive that away, change the door parts, some interior parts and it would be cool, but darn, thats a nice place to go
nice find!
