WW2
IMO,Americans saved nothing.The best that they did is their attacks in Pacific.They did a great job at Guadalcanal and Midway and gave Japs hell.They did nothing in France and Poland because in Omaha and other France beaches there were Brits,French,Canadians,Australians even New Zelanders(or what they called)...There were some Americans OK.But there were some other guys from other nationalities.And in Poland there were Russians and only Russians.Russians entered first in Berlin.Not French,not Americans...

There are some facts that the Americans did a great job but I don't think that they helped all the world.The WW2 officially finished with one of their moves.The nuclear bomb in Nagasaki and Hiroshima.Until the day before yesterday I though that the WW2 finished when the Berlin fall.But this isn't like this.The nuclear stopped the war. :wink:

dude, i was just kidding. The US helped alot in the war, but we didn't really save anyone. But thin kabout what would happen if we didn't ake action.

Yes,I would say that.The fact that Americans won the Pacific war against Japanese saved a lot arses...Like Australia and many more islands there...OK.I can say now that officially Russians entered the Berlin and captured it.Again officially the war started when the Germans entered the Poland and captured it.The war ended when the Allied forces pushed the Germans into their country and the Berlin fell but officially the WW2 ended by an American bomb.The nuclear bomb in Japan.
Mallon you have to know about these stories and this war because YOU(English)were the only European country that the Germans never entered into it... :wink: You stopped them in Africa and you sent forces to France to begin their ressurection... :wink: So,you made the start of the end... :P :wink:

hmmm...interesting topic. i disagreed with the atom bomb, i don't think civilians should die for any politics, but sometimes you just have to end something. the americans didn't want to enter the war at all, but pearl harbor pissed us off...i disagree that the americans saved nothing...i mean, you have to count the whole country of England. British soldiers are probably some of the most honorable and brave ones out there, but i don't think they could have held off the germans alone...and if stopping a crazy power-hungry dictator from taking over europe isn't helping the world, then what is?

I just agree with you Kim.But I still believe that the Americans saved some Australian or New Zealander arses because Japanese might be attack Australia or New Zealand...
