Driving Under the Influence of Awesome
Um. The dudes at WETA made a Warthog. I don’t mean that they made a big plastic thing that looks like a Warthog. I mean they built a fully-functioning, four-wheel steering, powerful, off-road vehicle with a machine gun on the back. At the correct scale. If you live near Wellington, New Zealand, you might even see some crazy machine-shop dude from WETA fishtailing around your base, ahem, I mean neighborhood.
What’s it for? Well, a couple of things – one of which will be one of the shorts coming from director Neill Blomkamp. We sort of blindsided you guys with the first short (Arms Race) – it had little to no context or explanation, but when you see it as it was originally intended – as part of an overall narrative, you might just pee your pants. And if you don’t, then the picture below will certainly cause some leakage.
Goddamn. It’s a Warthog.

^Nightmare armor makes that. Its pretty much the most realistic set you can buy, you can order leds on it and a camera in the helmet.

wow that is pretty cool. When I used to play Halo alot I wondered what it would be like if warthogs were real!

Yeah, I saw these before, but Im not that extreme to get a MJOLNIR generation armor, although it could be a great christmas gift for an uber-geek

This is probably the most insane thing I've seen for weeks now, a freaking Warthog? This is the epitome of Halo gaming right here, cant get much sicker than that. WORKING MACHINE GUN

After watching all the short videos Blomkamp has done, it makes me want to shoot the people the killed the Halo movie.

The one that came out so far looked good, apparently there are going to be a few more as the game gets closer to launch. And they needed to build this thing for one of them as they're all intertwined somehow into a short story.

I've actually heard that the movie may be picked back up if Halo 3 sells enough. Which is retarded. Duh the games going to sell enough. They might as well go ahead and start filming.
