I haven't seen that in a long time. I also expected the jet to smoke it, but the Viper lost by ONLY 2/10 of a second!.....

I saw this on "Ripley's Believe It Or Not". Alot of People say that the viper won,but by so little that people are still arguing about who won.

A viper is also a couple million dollars less, gas wont be a problem, and you dont have to worry about being shot down.

But the F-16 has an estimated 45,000 HP, a top speed of 1,321mph, a 55,000ft service ceiling, a 20mm gatling gun, 70mm rockets, 6 air-to-air sidewinders and 6 AMRAAMs, 10 air-to-ground missiles, and able to hold a couple dozen bombs, including laser-guided bombs and an option for a B61 variable-yield thermonuclear bomb.
And a unit of the F-16 Fighting Falcon, built by Lockheed, cost about 20 million dollars. So maybe the Dodge Viper is a bit more economical, cheaper, and somewhat safer...so go ahead and have your "1/4 mile of fame" but after that 10-odd seconds, get ready to be raped. yea the jet wins by.10 of a second... in a two mile run... i could beat one on foot... blah blah blah... hahaha i've seen it its interesting... but if thats just the viper what could the FOrd GT and Corvette due... Hmmmm
