Whoever on here said that the 360 can play any file & the ps3 can't...
...WRONG. The 360 media player is SH1T. It sucks. It won't play mkv files, it won't play poorly coded avi files & it definitely will not play flv files. The PS3 media player is miles ahead of the 360 version. It just is. The fact that you can ff & rewind music files on the PS3 makes it better. You can't do that on a 360. And the movie player on PS3 is waaaaaaay better than the 360 crap version. PS3 will play more movie files than the 360 ever will. And the interface is miles ahead on the PS3. XBOX need to get their sh1t together concerning their media streaming efforts.

There have been several times where ive tried to play a film/tv series on the 360 and it didnt recognise it at all. Straight into the PS3 and they play perfectly.

I either stream the film/tv series from HBOGO.
Or if I have a DVD I just put it in the blue-ray/dvd player that came with my stereo.

What do you guys do to screw up the media process to an xbox?
Every single thing I have tried to stream to my ps3..Streams to my xbox.. no tricks no extra crap... The ONLY time i have an issue is if i'm trying to burn a Media disk or trying to run things off of a usb thumb drive... but that's not Streaming.. You're all retarded... ogg's mp4 wmv flv... You guys need to learn what constitutes streaming, and what's file sharing.

like i said... never had any issues streaming anything... not from my pc laptop ps3 tablet or home network... only error ive had was from the ps3 by means of cinavia.....which.is.the.devil
