Gran Turismo 4 contest #1- Nurburgring Nordschleife

I haven't been posting at all since the 22nd. I wonder why. Obviously because I got GT4, and all I've been doing is playing it. I'm 25% done with the game, and I have about 48 cars and about $700,000. But thats besides the point. I decided we should make a contest to see who could lap the given track the fastest with the given car. So, here is the first attempt to make a GT4 contest. Here are the rules:

- You can only drive on the track given
- You can only time one lap. You may NOT take more than one and post the best time out of those laps. this is a one lap, all out thrash-fest.
- You can only use the car permitted
- Manual Transmission must be used
- Tires must be sports medium, unless otherwise specified
- No electronic drivers aids may be used
- Must race in A-spec, the driver's mode (obviously)

Track for contest #1- The Nurburgring Nordschiefe

Car used for contest #1- Amuse S2000 R1

Time to beat: 8.16.326

That time shouldn't be too hard to beat, because I went off the track a couple of times. I realize that there is no "free run" mode anymore. If you can't afford the car or you just don't feel like buying it, do a race in the arcade mode, but make sure the opponents are at like -5 skill level.

There is no point in cheating. I trust that you will put up your real times and not knock back a couple of seconds here and there. There is no prize, so don't think there will be. And have fun! PM me if you have any questions.

Im 50+% done with my GT4, i got the japanese version and started a long time ago. I have 98 cars and I have 202,000,000 credits(i think the japanese currency is 100 times more than the american, chinese version.

I did it in 6:45:827 with the Benz C9, it took me around 10 minutes the first time i did it with a crap car. The tires are Racing 3. I'll go do it later with a car that has sports tires, ill probably do it with my M3 GTR

To get super license you have to do it in less than 7 minutes with a stock C9. The free run mode is in the gran turismo mode, its in those places with the name *blank* coure (the green ones) its just that you have to pay to drive there

I dont think the point was to post the car you want, there are rules man. I hav'nt got GT4 yet, but when I do I will join your game. Sounds cool. Try a S-Type TD-V6.... LOL!

Im only 15 percent done as of 2 days of playing with 15 cars however I sprang to buy the M3's so I have no money. Nor do I have that car. However when I get it Ill let u know my lap time.

I'll add to this list every now and then. I got most of these cars from the rally races, which are pretty easy. Oh yeah, and I figured out that if you want an R32 golf, but the HPA motorsports car. I don't think you can race it in many races, but it's cheaper than the stock R32, but has more than twice the horsepower.
