RS vs. 240
Raced a Nissan 240 tonight....
We knew each other for about 1 month and he kept insisting he would wax me. I figured tonight would be the night to find out if his KA24 truck motor would beat my lil Neon motor. So we hit a dark, quiet highway in bofu, and lined them up. We had two spotters about 2 miles on each side of us, and 1 marking the 1/4 mile. Off the line we were neck and neck, but my end of my 2nd gear I had him about 1/2 a car, and 3rd gear I had him 2 cars. We meet back up at O'rileys only to hear sirens in the distance, and see the 240 runnin from a undercover cop......Like its a smart thing to do, 2 hours later, he returns w/ a $560 ticket.... And a blown head gasket. Thank Nissan |

I think he's making fun of the two cars involved.
Let's say you own an SRT4, the "good" "Neon", btw, it's not a Neon, it's an SRT4. Anyways, I'm not here to blast ya', but that 240 should've absolutetly murdered your car if he had money and brains, or just brains. Swapping out that truck engine for the SR20 would've made it a short race. It's a "common" swap, or rather, a sought after mod to almost all 240's. Simply put, 240's can smoke just about anything for less money than most direct competition.

Sheesh.. blown head gasket.. I wouldnt even fix it if it was my own car lol.. Id say screw it and get a better car. Unless I find a replacement engine.
