Default supercharger kit

http://www.superchargersonline.com/p...0P&tabactive=3

This is a kit for 2002-2003 3.0l Ford Ranger

The ranger uses basically the same Vulcan engine as my 98 Taurus, with fwd to rwd eception

Can this kit be converted for my engine?

I would email the company. But At the price af the kit and your car you could get the 97-98 SHO and already start out with as much HP as the kit will give you.

Cams have been known to fail on 97-98. But you can have them welded several companies offer the service and it works like a charm www.shoforum.com

Actually the problem has been reported on 96 and 99 models to, it wasnt a model year problem it was an engine defect by Yamaha at the very begining of the GEN 3 SHO era.

On the other hand, I could buy a remanufactured 3.4L for around 2k-3k.

sleeper_98, I would fall on my/loaner sword before I would drive a Ranger (w/wo sc). Rangers have bad roadholding AND bad handling.
