I have a 95 Nissan Maxima SE. It has over 200k miles. The check engine light is on and i wanted to know if anyone knows a way to reset it without the diagnostic tool. i'm getting rid of it in hopes to buy a 2004 or 2005 in a few months after i graduate. I just want the light to go off so i can get an inspection sticker.

You actually imply that you want to trick your future buyer of the car..?
You could disconnect the warning light's cable so that the light will go out... |
