OY! I'm almost positive the Getreg 260/6 out of a 535I won't attach to a M50 style engine.

Is the transmission in the E30 325I actually not good? I've seen a few guys that do M50 swaps into their E30's keep their stock transmission and seem to not have much problems.

It's not like I'll be making crazy amounts of power either. I imagine the dudes with boosted M20's are making more than what I'll be at.

Any real good reasons on why I should"t go with the 260/5?

They go on the toggle switches, like sooo.

Where can I get these in the UK? They're pretty funny looking...

I don't know man. Might want to check if that site ships worldwide. It wouldn't be that much to ship. Because it would be a light package. Just stickers.

They have a contact us section. Where is says if you have any questions about shipping, to email them. It's worth a shot, man.

And I was able to talk to the person who I paid 15 bucks for one cap, and they thankfully canceled my order. So that's not a problem anymore.

And I got on Ebay and ordered some for Europe. 12 bucks total, for a set of 4. That sounds better.

You know, I'd wager that, until Ty's and Evo's cars are done...

I have the coolest car on the forum.

I'd wager that as false statement.

There is a member who has this:

I was strictly talking about existing cars of regulars.

1. sssnake hasn't been here in years so he doesn't count.

2. I think the 959 is his fathers, like the 911 Turbo, while s-tune has the S8, Z4M, and Land Cruiser.

3. Buick...... uh. To you, yes.

4. RIP Randy.

So, as promised, here are the photos of the transmission fluid, and oil change.

The shifting is much, much smoother. And the engine runs better, and I feel it revs more freely too.

Next up, the differential fluid, spark plugs....

That done, time for an oil change:

The odometer passed 60K miles during post oil change test!

Top work fella, getting the filter off isn't fun is it?! At least they come off easy once you can get to them.

Also, coolest car on the forum, there's that bloke with the Sierra Cosworth capable of 200mph+...

Next time tbt you should buy 2 filters and the fill amount of low quality oil as well...

With oil that's black as night, and a drain plug full of deposits you'll want to get as much crud ffrom your system as possible...

So I suggest drain the oild, replace the filter.. Fill witrh cheap oil..

Run it for a couple of miles, then drain again...replace with the good stuff, and a new filter....

You'd be surprised how much crap oil sits in the pan after a drain... And how much debris isn't getting caught by the filter..

And sorry jjo your cars cool, but we can put in a 4cyl, a 6 cyl an 8cyl or a 12 cyl all using factory hardware... We win.

^ Yeah, another friend of mine told me to do that as well. Actually, he told me to Seafoam it.

But damn, that oil was black, man.

I'll do that next time for sure.

And that was the transmission drain plug by the way. Obviously that hadn't been done either. Ever.

EDIT:

Lol. I couldn't do it from the top. So I took the front right tire off, reached around the caliper/rotor, loosened it, and took it off from the top.

Then I screwed in the new filter from the bottom and tightened from the top.

It wasn't that difficult, but yeah, it's not convenient.
