Default Small Exotic Sports Car Showdown

Well, guess i'm in comparos mood lately, so here we go.

I didn't post performance number so yo upeople realize that this cars should perform very very alike, the GT is suppossed to aim at 360 Modena, but i find a better comparo the stradale, why? because GT's chassis is designed to exceed by a lot the one at the modena, and so does the stradale, anyway, i guess any of this cars can make anyone happy, and i find a good comparo since the difference between the heaviest (weight to power) and the lightest is only 0.24lb/hp

Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale

Curb Weight: 2822 lbs
Layout: Mid-Engine/RWD
Transmission: 6-Speed Sequential
Type: V8
Displacement: 3586 cc
Horsepower: 425 bhp @ 8500 rpm
Torque: 276 lb-ft @ 4750 rpm
Weight to power ratio: 6.64lb/hp

Lamborghini Gallardo

Curb Weight: 3168 lbs
Layout: Mid-Engine/AWD
Transmission: 6-Speed Manual
Type: V10
Displacement: 5000 cc
Horsepower: 495 bhp @ 7800 rpm
Torque: 376 lb-ft @ 4500 rpm
Weight to power ratio: 6.4lb/hp

Ford GT

Curb Weight: 3200 lbs
Layout: Mid-Engine/RWD
Transmission: 6-Speed Manual
Type: Supercharged V8
Displacement: 5400 cc
Horsepower: 500 bhp @ 5250 rpm
Torque: 500 lb-ft @ 3250 rpm
Weight to power ratio: 6.4lb/hp

Porsche GT2

Curb Weight: 3175 lbs
Layout: Rear-Engine/RWD
Transmission: 6-Speed Manual
Type: Twin-Turbo Flat-6
Displacement: 3600 cc
Horsepower: 483 bhp @ 5700 rpm
Torque: 472 lb-ft @ 3500-4500 rpm
Weight to power ratio: 6.57lb/hp

For me Ford GT, but guys you know i would die happy with any of these engines roaring behind me

I still think that this comparison is kind of unfair.Even if Stradale has less weight in compare with the others,it also has very very less horsepower,so...Anyway..
You know my vote because its THE beautifullest car in the world...Oops sorry, the second one.575M is the first. :wink:Oh, and the torque comparison is unfair too...

The GT2 sooooo easy, this car kills all the others in just about everything.
I thought before deciding for about 0.0000001 secs.

I thought a bit longer before I picked the GT2. It will totally blow all the others away performance wise. But I think that the Ferrari will be close. i thought about voting for it.

Power to weight ratio is very similar, only 0.24lb/hp, that could change things by gearing, and for all that i've seen, performance is very similar for all of them.

BTW: beautifulles isn't a real word i think you have to say the most beautiful...again i might be wrong

GT2 is great, but i don't think it beats them in every aspect, i say it would be a great race, GT2 is great on track, but remember only for the very skilled, the GT and Gallardo maybe more forgiving than 360 and GT2, but still i think they are a fair match, i'd like to hear some arguments

I agree with that. I've heard that the GT2 requires great skill to be driven fast, but is rewarding in the end. Ultimately, it will give better lap results than tho others.

Lol, the correct expression is the most beatiful, anyway who cares, what is that EVO thing, a magazine? do you have scans or something?

Anyway, with small, i meant smaller, i meant lesser, like the difference between the Murcielago and Gallardo, maybe i should change the title

The Ford GT!! All the other cars are kind of imple looking because the companies that make them make alot of other high performance cars that look quite similar. Ford only makes one real performance car and it looks bad ass. from what I've read, it will be quite the under dog that will kick Ferraris ass
