Well, sorry if it's been done before, but after seeing the Best Motoring video, i felt like doing one of my own. (sry, but some of these measurements are metric)
NSX S-Zero (aka zanardi edition NSX in US) ![]() V6, 3.2 liter 290 HP @ 7100 rpm 224 lb-ft @ 5500 rpm 1270 kg RX-7 RS (Driven by the extremely aggressive Gan-san in the Best Motoring video) ![]() 280 HP ~226 lb-ft 1280 kg R34 Skyline GT-R V-spec ![]() Twin-Turbo Inline-6 2568 cc 280 HP @ 6800 rpm 289 lb-ft @ 4400 rpm 1560 kg |

I love all of these cars but I'm gunna go with the R34 because of its great styling (but those rims that are pictured! :? ugly). Any 0-60 and 1/4 mile specs on the cars? Cause I'm just guess their speeds base on power-to-weight ratios. I could also use some engine specs and stuff, displacement or size, w/e... All great automobiles here.

Naturally the R34 comes to mind. That’s what I would usually pick, but not in this case. I’m with the NSX. I saw a video of it racing on a track, superb at the corners.
It weights the least of the group and it’s a MR. Plus it looks great ![]()

In stock trim, I'd go for the NSX. For a full on racer, I'd still go with the NSX, because it's better than the R34 due to its mid-engine and rwd. For a daily driver, THEN, I'd go with the R34, AWD and speed plus rarity.

Ok.. off the top of my head
NSX S-Zero: 0-60: 4.8 secs, 1/4 mile 13.4 maybe? Skyline GTR R34 V-spec: 0-60: 5.1 secs, 1/4 mile... around 13.2 when unrestricted..13.7 restricted (which is what we are comparing.. forgot to mention) RX-7 RS: 0-60 5.1 secs, 1/4 mile, mid to high 13 |

Probably the R34 or the RX-7. Never really cared for the NSX. Oh yeh, the NSX can't even touch the R34 and the RX-7 for looks as well.

These are all definetely cars that i like, and it's hard for me to figure out the order of which i like them... except for first place
1. NSX S-Zero: The NSX itself as somewhat rare.. but an NSX S-Zero? (only 50 were made, and all presold in USDM) That's definetely a contender. A track monster too, as all these other cars are too, but with Mid-rear config 2. RX-7 RS: If it wasn't the JDM RS version, i might not have taken it... but it is so.. , and one of the best F-R configs in the world3. Skyline R34 GTR (not far behind), but i'd think the RX-7 is more "my car type"... no doubt the Skyline is still an awesome car |

1. NSX - Superior balance, weight, and rear mounted engine.
2. RX-7 - similar advantages as NSX, but not as noticeable (Superb styling.. 3. R34 - Good for drag racing and great drivetrain

NSX for me, it's simply the best Japanese car EVER IMO...
Handling is unmatched even by today's cars. Nice engine too (love the sound). The RX-7 is also really really cool though, I prefer it's design. |
