Same here. GM also needs to bring back the Syclone and the Typhoon.

I'm a Chevy guy too...I'll take the Silverado. The GMT800s were inferior to the Fords, but now with the GMT900s I honestly believe that this is the truck to own now. I think they have finally made a much better truck, which it still won't sell like the F150. Plus I like the style of the new Chevys...interiors are looking great!

I do like the apperance of the new Chevys. The previous generation just looked like crap, with the Avalanche making me look for the nearest vomit bag.

The current bodystyle reminds me of the 95'ish trucks with the flat yet slightly rounded front. These, in my opinion, were the bodystyle to have. They simply looked the part of a serious truck. Now with the new bodystyle echoing that appearance, they're back in the appearance competition as far as I'm concerned.

I think the thing that keeps Fords going is that there is such an emphasis by Ford to make the trucks easilly maintanable, with plenty of power and durability. In my opinion and having used Chevys for work trucks they simply don't compare. Maybe the new HD versions will be better than years prior. If thats the case you never really know, the GM trucks may surpass the F150/250/350 in sales.

The sales of the F150 are going to be darn near impossible to beat, even with a slightly superior product. The F150 has the most loyal customers. They are hard to beat. But I think the new HD will edge out the SD...the SD has just gotten really ugly IMO. I'm waiting to see the war between the Camaro and Mustang tho! Chevy is actually going to put money into it. Unlike the 4th gens they will have different packages. They only has the Base, RS some years, Z28, SS from 96 on. They are going to do what Ford is doing and produce a variety of options. Which should help.

Have u seen the new Tundra tho ? Looks pretty stout for a Jap truck
5.7 V8 producing 380 HP & 401 TQ should be enough for now. Let's see how long they last

Not really heritage so to say, but reputation. Its like why buy something that hasn't PROVED its worth yet.
