The SRT-4 uses a turbocharger. Its the same turbo that is in the EVO 8. And I would take the SRT-4. Dont like the Cobalt.

I like the Cobalt because it's a sporty two-door, not a loaded econo-sedan.

SRT4, + five grand, and you've got a 501bhp giant.

Game over "SS".

SRT-4. No Saturn or Chevrolet is quicker, faster, or better. The quarter-mile and 0-60 times for the Saturn and Chevrolet are typically inflated, too: how does a 2976lb 205hp car go 0-60 in 5.9 seconds? Meanwhile the Neon, which weighs 30lb less and has a 25hp advantage (and a standard LSD) only manages it a tenth quicker?

5.8 seconds is Dodge's figure, 5.9 for the SS is Motor Trend's figure, which means that they revved the car to 4000RPM and dropped it, whereas Dodge simply floored it from a standstill. Not to mention Motor Trend's drivers, nearly all of whom are professional and can shift faster than most automatic transmissions. Sorry - SRT-4 is notably quicker, and the SS is mostly BS.

I'd take the SRT4 because Chevy's in general suck. And, i hear that some of the parts were designed and made by 15 year olds. I forget who said that. And the SRT4 sounds awesome too.
