You know what I realized? The current generation Impreza looks like a modern interpretation of the first generation Impreza.

Is the XV similar to Audi's Allroad?

It seems that way since its not a wagon, hatch, sedan, or SUV.

Sorry folks... I really quite liked it... I even got the info pack on it (albeit in German) for me to have a read of later on.
Best car on their stand I reckon, the Outbacks just looked like bricks on wheels (sorry I just DON'T like the new shape that much), the STI was silver with silver wheels, looked like the silver non-turbo parked next to it under the show lighting the arches were hidden, the Justy is well, a re-badged Die-****-su and the gullwing concept they have as a design feature is pretty cool, but you can't take it seriously for obvious reasons, so all in all, the XV was the highlight of the Subaru stand for me...
How were you ever able to contain all of the excitement? Well, I guess a diesel engine is something.

It's totally a hatch. How is it not? And Audi's Allroad is similar to a Subaru. Let's never get that confused.

Not quite..

The Audi Allroad was intended to compete with the Subaru (Legacy) Outback. They are both wagons/estates. I thought that was common sense.

Anyways, realistically, it's just a dressed-up Subaru Impreza Outback with the Subaru BOXER DIESEL.

The only thing i can not understand, why its not put higher (lets say 190mm instead of 150mm) from the ground?

This has depressed me as a life long subaru fan.

I really cant like this thing, im stuck in the older, better, saloon Impreza ways, i just want a couple of options:

Basic Impreza

Turbo Impreza

Balls out manic Impreza STi 3350 AAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!

I dont want it to be a hatchback, i dont want them to do a gimmick spin off "rugged" version, I dont want them to soften it and make it all curvy and grown up, i dont like how it looks, dont like the idea of it and its depressing to me that we have gone in a few short years from this:

And this:

To this:

A big, soft, fat diesel imposter.
