How much does a new GTI cost right now? Also how is it a bad car?

It gets good mileage, it has a lot of interior space, it's pretty quick, and it's not insanely expensive. I also like the interior on um.

GTI's not a bad car in terms of cost/what you get..

but the R32 and the rest are..10,000 more than the GTI..Lol

The GTi is just a poor performing pile for what it produces, and is a car for men with estrogen imbalance issues..It is a very very gay car.l

edit...Looking at the VW site price, well equipped Golf R at a dealership will probably be 40,000...that's banana's

Isn't the Golf R just the new name for the R32? And yeah that car is horrifically overpriced.

But the normal 2.0t version is fine. If you could only have 1 car to do basically everything, you could do a lot worse.

It weighs sooooo much for it's size. Seriously, it's 1000 pounds more heavy than my Fit, and it's not bigger, really. That's insane.

That, the price, and the fact that it'll probably crap out on you in five years are the only things keeping it from "good choice" status in my opinion.

The regular rabbit starts at around 16k which is great... but the gti....is a 26-29k car out the door.... and while not incredibly overpriced the thing weighs 3500lbs???? But anyways.....

I sat in one today. It felt like it would be a good drive. It was low slung and it had no-nonsense feeling to it.
