Question headlights 04 lancer

i had a headlight bulb blow and i need to open up the headlight and clean it out so the question is. HOW DO I DO IT?

Car manual is the answer indeed. If by some freakish chance it isn't in the owner manual. You should be able to get the service manual online, or worse comes to worse, if you have a reasonably mechanically inclined friend, give him a try. I have some idea of how it probably works in a Lancer, but to try to explain it without a diagram would be an excercise in futility.

Yes, like the others said, most likely you will find the answers your looking for in your owners manual. But if all else fails, pop the hood and take a look! I had a bulb go out a couple days ago and replacing mine involved taking the battery out and undoing a few screws, but all and all pretty strait forward. I dont know about a lancer but mine even had a little picture of a light bulb on the piece I had to unscrew.

Well, if you don't find your answers in your car manual. Go to the internet and search it. It sure is going to be there.

well i can do some mechanic, my first car was an 83 buick so ive done some fixin, i tried takin it out myself and then posted this i took a couple screws and and had it movin but insted of yankin it out maby destroing something i thaught id ask you guy, good idea about the manual i didnt even think about it
