~'06 CRX update
Seems like the CRX ressurection rumor is going strong.....
From the Temple of VTEC: Rumors of the CRX's return have been floating around for quite some time (dating back to the very early years of the TOV), and we've all been hoping to see the dreams finally realized. The rumors persist and quite recently we've heard from a number of unrelated sources that it's going to be a reality soon. Word has it that CRX will in fact be revived with the next generation Civic, which is due next year (MY2006). The actual timing of the CRX variant is a little less certain, but there is word that it will be launched simultaneously with the new Civic, and both will debut at the 2005 Frankfurt Motor Show. It is also being said that the CRX will likely serve as the performance flagship of the Civic line. Sounds like a desperately needed Si replacement. |

I saw spy shots 1 year ago it doesent look good!!! i think is just rumors! but i really want

i really donīt like when company bring back dead cars agien. the car is gone and the company can make something entire new :-)
and i dont think that honda want to have the porsche 911 syndrome, A car that wonīt die and they canīt stop manufacture it beacuse the car is so associated with Phorshe

I have nothing against reviving old car names, but they need to make them better than the old ones, or at least able to stand up to the good history of their ancestors. Not like the new Beetle, for instance...

Yeah, but in my eyes the CRX has been effectively replaced with the Si. Honda's going to make this is and just have two cars in the same line that aren't very different. :?

No offence, but IMO the Si is just sooo crap compared to the old CRX (mid-'90s)...

It's engine, suspension, and general mechanical build is much better in quality I feel. BUT! I do think the current Si is overated and outgunned by almost all of its comptetitors when it comes to "plunking" down my cash for one. But isn't Honda kicking around the idea for a new Si?

now this is a topic. not the idea but the feedback. makes me proud to be on this forum *sheds a tear* .
I think that the new CRX should just be an upgraded version of the honda SI. exept with a diff name. like Honda SI GT....... na that names sucks. but you get what I mean?
