Z4 with no second thoughts ...
better handling better grip .. more powerful engine ..
and its a bimmer which means alot at least for me !

considering the price difference I think these 2 cars are very closely matched.

I simply would take the Z4 with the budget. Failing the budget Id be happy with the S2000.
It also depends what you want the car for. The BM you'd buy and leave as is, but with the S2000, you be more likely to be modifing it.

Considering that the Z4 is MUCH more expensive than the S2000 without offering too much more, I would choose the S2000. Besides, the S2000 has one of the best engines ever built. :roll:

BEEEEEAH s2000 to the end! i don't quite like the new z4....if the styling is acceptabile, i hate the interiour ( too clasy for me). From the performance perspective i would choose a 350z :P

First of all we need to cmpare the s2k with the 3.0L Z4.
Second, White ur wrong, the Z4 with the 3.0 engone, which is the fastest so far has 231hp, while the S2k has 240.
Jim the s2k and the Z4 have almost the same price.(this applies and in Hellas man).
Now on to the comparo. The Honda is a very very very fun and a very very very difficult car to handle if ur unxp. If u r xpernc. though u r going to be drifting all the time :twisted: . On the other hand the Z4 has a much more easy handling. Even if u turn the DSC off, it is quite hard to produce oversteer. But when u do...hehehhe :twisted: .
As far as their perf is concerned they have almost the same hp and almost the same 0-100km/h.

Since ur being that specific here r the exact prices. Z4(3.0) costs 64800 Euros, and S2000 costs49.450 Euros. Quite a difference, ur correct.

well,the S2000 is much more beautiful,looks much better,I will take the S2000 If I want A car for the track and if I want to hear the monster sound of its engine, but if I'll be thinking of buying a car for every day comfort and quiteness I'll take the Z4,without no doupt.

For me, the S2K is the way to go. it's 240bhp from only 2 liters! :shock:

Also, the Z4's styling is kinda creepy. You also don't rice up Z's. That's for the S2K, which is what I want to do if I had one.

the S2000 is much nicer,
the BMW is nice aswell but i prefer the S2000 as look BUT THE bmw is faster and the accelaration is faster and the BMW as a inline- and the S200 as a inline-4

Hehe, thought I'd put my silly American perspective into this.
here's some stats that haven't been brought up yet(though price has, it hasn't been specifically American ones)

Price= S2000: $33,060 Z4: $40,945(over 45k for the "best" kind)
weight= S2000: 2800 lbs Z4: 3050 lbs
0-60mph= S2000: 5.4 seconds Z4: 5.3 seconds
1/4 mile= S2000: 14.1 seconds Z4: 14 seconds
Displacement= S2000: 2.0 liters Z4: 3.0 liters
Skidpad G's= S2000: 0.92 Z4: 0.92

I think the numbers speak for themselves. The s2k also has the best shifter adn transmission, like ever. Plus the interior is actually better put together than the Z4's or even a Porshe Boxsters. Higher technology, higher driving experince. So is the Honda S2000 the ulitmate sport roadster? I'd dare to say yes! :mrgreen:

I went to some website and saw a glimpse of the Z4's interior and it was quite.....well.....blandish. It was a little boring to be in a car that's 40+ grand.

I'd have to go with the Z4 over the s2k...I'm not a Honda fan. I love the new z4...anyone seen the new z8. mmmm I love that car.

Anyway, that's my view. Take it or leave it.

For me, the Z8 is a bit too old-fashioned in it's design (both interior-exterior). I prefer sth more modern.

That was the purpose of the Z8. To have 'old style lines". Retro.

:D I like them both but ive only driven on of them and it was a street racing tuned s2000 my frined chico races and that thing is bad ass to the core. And he drives it like a mad man!!!!! that thing is scary fast when its tuned and looks sweeter then most. it also gets off the line pretty damn fast. he whoops the **** ouuta my 350 nova any day ive beat him once and that was with nitro. but most the time i just cant catch him :(

Then go out and buy an S2k, fix it up and fight "fire with fire" with him :D

This is an easy poll. Who wouldn't pick the S2000. It would blow the Z4's doors in for sure.

Top gear did a review of the z4, s200 and boxter.
jermeny clarckson spent the whole segment praising the s2000, and it eneded comin gin last place in lap around their track.
but even so, a blown or boosted S2000 would be sooo much fine to throw around...
