I have a suggestion for you guys... why not make the PM's a little easier to notice when you have one? like blinking red instead of bold... or something like that. Possibly even like a pop-up message that says u have a message (but then again, alot of ppl have popup blockers)...

hell, you could even throw in an explosion on the side the car leaves from and vin deisel running across the screen being chased by the terminator who is shooting rockets at him. the terminator could trip and shoot a rocket at the ground and cry because this time he wont be back.
