I'll start....as it says in my profile USA. But to be more exact New York. I live on Long Island which is a large island, about 120 miles by 20 miles. I am about 60 min from New York City and the famous Hamptons are about 20 minutes from my place. I love it here, I can drive a little and have a big city, or go the other way and have farms. I have beaches just minutes from my house. And a drag strip 30 min away lol.

I live in a rather small little town outside of Rochester, New York called Pittsford. It's about 300-400 miles northwest of Long Island. I don't know exactly how far that is in km, but it would take like 6+ hours to drive there. The only car related thing around here is Watkins Glen, which is like an hour and a half away. They used to have F1 races there back in the 60s and 70s, but now it's just NASCAR.

I live in Larissa, in Greece. It's about 365km away from Athens. It's the 4rth biggest city in Greece with 250.000 ppl, we have more cafe's than any other city in Greece, the reason is the biggest university in Greece (20.000+ students). The crazyest ppl in Greece live here! ! ! :D The closest beaches are about 30 - 35km away. We don't have any circuits or drag strips but we have 3 kart circuits! ! ! :D :D :D

I'm from Nijmegen, the oldest city of The Netherlands. There are about 250.000-300.000 people living here. The only fun thing you can do here, is driving Karts at 'ANAC', wich is about 5 mins. away from my house.

I live in Santiago wich is the capital city of Chile, it has 6 million hab. and around here there are lots of auto fans but not too much experienced auto parts stores, any way that is changing slowly, we have two "big" competitions of 1/4 mile about 15 times a year and illegal races on the streets in time to time, plus we have a motor show once a year, the legal age to get a driver's license is 18.
not many south americans around here (forum) :(

In my profile it says I live in Detroit, the exact place where the first car was designed. I just live in one of the suburbs of Metro Detroit, since the actual Detroit is exceptionally run-down with ghettos and gun shooting. If anyone has seen that movie 8-Mile, its the REAL Detroit, not what it used to be decades ago.

I'm from a village in surrey in SE England, quite quiet, SW of London. But we have got some real nice cars around here, a local has bought a brand new DB7 Zagato (reg plate RD04 for those who understand the new UK date system), and some others!
In the last few years it has become a place for rich commuters to London to live in, which is cool, because we now live with the rich people! (and their cars)

No drag strips here either :P
