So what does a boost controller actually do? I read somewhere that his kind of tuning kills your engine! WHY? |||| Blow of valves? What is their purpuose and where are they situated? DO all stock turbo engines have dump valves? ||| Why do need to upgrade your clutch after an engine upgrade (i know you can burn it) but what causes it to burn? ||| What's a flywheel? ||| Even though the questions may sound stupid, sorry most of the terms are hard to understand, english isn't my first language...

So what does a boost controller actually do? I read somewhere that his kind of tuning kills your engine! WHY?
I'm not totally sure about this one, but I guess it's a device that sets the level of boost for your turbo. You can destroy your engine because if you raise your boost too much your engine won't stand it. Especially if your engine already has high compression ratio.
Blow of valves? What is their purpuose and where are they situated?
They are situated someplace close to the turbo and the intake. Their purpose is to release the high pressure before the intake into the atmosphere when you release the gas pedal. When you release it, the engine shouldn't take so much compressed air into it so it must be rather released.
DO all stock turbo engines have dump valves?
No. It's only needed on high boost turbo engines, like more than 0.8-1 bar.
Why do need to upgrade your clutch after an engine upgrade (i know you can burn it) but what causes it to burn?
Your stock clutch can only handle some fixed maximum amount of torque. If you upgrade the engine and you don't upgrade the clutch, then the "downforce" produced by the clutch's springs will not be enough. Your engine will rev but the clutch won't have a grip (it will burn the gripping materials, like when you burn your brakes if you overdo it) and no torque will be tranfered to your wheels. Thus you will need a stronger clutch. It's like when you have slippery shoes. If you need to run fast, you gotta get some shoes with better grip. (ok, probably bad example)
What's a flywheel?
At the end of the crankshaft there is a large disk that rotates together with the crankshaft. When you release the clutch pedal, then the clutch (which is also a disk) is pressed hard against the flywheel, so the two surfaces are engaged and torque is transferred to your wheels.
I hope I have been helpful.

thank you for the helpfull info! About the blow off valves...say does a stock wrx STi or a mtisu evo come with a stock blow off valve ( both are turbocharged) !!!!! And if it does would it be smart to replace it with another one (perrin, aem ...). What a fuel rail????? What does it contain? What does an oil catch can actually do and is it any helpfull in performance?

I really don't know if the STi/EVO have a stock blow-off valve, but even if they do I would recommend not changing anything, as long as it works fine. The Japanese know what they are doing.
Now about your other questions, I don't think I can help you. :(

Turbo: HKS, Garrett, IHI, KKK, ...
I don't know about blow-off valves... :( Perhaps those same companies offer some interesting complete solutions with wastegates.

Both Sti and EVO 8 don't have a blow-off valve. IMO, a good brand for blow-off valves is Forge
