Very good pc. Just two changes:
1. Get rid of the crap Athlon and get an INTEL.
2. Get rid of the crap AOC monitor and get a SONY.
With these changes, it kicks ass.

Is the Processor a 64-bit because if its not...YOUR GRANDMA JUST WASTED HER MONEY :!
and AMD Athlon Processors can't go 3.2GHz :!: The name might be Athlon XP 3200+ but it goes at 2.2GHz :!: sorry to break it to you
and jimkk29 Athlon and Apple made a 64-bit processor, intel is still behide with a 34-bit processor :!:

Not its not the 64bit proseccor and I know that the AMD Athlon 3.2GHz is trully 2.4GHz...
But I can compare it with a 2.6 or a 2.8GHz INTEL Pentium 4 and beat it...
Waste of money ATi Radeon 9800 256MB and 3.2GHz processor?

Schumi just read my post above... ^^^
Btw the monitor is really important. It's for your eyes. Drop the AOC which is crap and get a good SONY or EIZO. If you get the AOC, it's like getting a Lada instead of a Ferrari. :?

1. Get rid of the crap Athlon and get an INTEL.
GET RID OF ATHLON
Athlon is CHEEPER, and for the Price MUCH BETTER THEN INTEL, except 2 things:
Intel, is cool for the normal things, you also do at work, not gaming
Athlon, is best buy for games, compare 2400+ athlon with 2.4 Ghz Intel, Athlon wins with the games ( and i know, my dad had 2.4 Ghz Intel and i got 2400+ Athlon  )

I know that they're a bit faster, but because of that they tend to get overheated and they have malfunctions. They also need large fans that make a lot of noise.
I've always had Intels for the last 15 years and I've NEVER had any problems, so I'll always keep buying Intels.

your right of the fans, but for just 50 euro you have a fan controller and the size is 5,25" so it fits into the slide under/above/between your cd-roms
and you can put 2 to 6 fans on it, so the noise is gone

LOL but if you put more fans then you have more noise! :D

haha, hell no, if you put more fans you can put them slower, you can control every single fan with it, im going to buy it to :)
and the noise is reduced by 30-40 Decibel

Jim:The Athlon are no longer get overheated because AMD changed their kernel so they cant get overheated now.Plus AMD's are cheaper, quicker and generally better than the Intel's...You were right with the monitor.I changed it to a 17'' Hitachi not TFT.
dark_hunter:I know about water-cooling.We have a store here in downtown who sells computer's and they have water-cooling systems...They are great. But I dont think that I need it now with the new AMD kernels..

Schumi do you have a CRT or A LCD :?:
CRTs are better for gaming :!:
I have a 17" NEC and it is beautiful.

Of course CRT. The only advantage of LCDs is space economy...
