Sure, they're good things, but this isn't about them, it's about those retarded ad campaign's with moron's dancing like epyleptic four year olds with a sugar overdose...

Now, I've been a fan of SomethingAwful for years, so much so that it's my homepage...SCF used to be...but...this is SA, they make me laugh all the time.

As such, I give you this link, it explain's all...And "Goons", are just members.

lol, I actaully got one for my birthday, even though for twice the cost of the shuffle I could have gotten a 15mg Jukebox, that just so happens to hold 14 times more songs. 7000, give or take.

So you're willing to pay $100 dollars for an MP3 player with no screen thats on random all the time? What about song selection? What about all of the other amenities that my $100 dollar MP3 player has? Its dumb. The price is jacked up because its a "trend".

Plus, who the hell needs to store 7000 songs? I've got my SanDisk 512MB player and I wouldn't want anymore. It just seems like a waste of money.

hahaha it would have been better if they just went out on the street and walked around like that. i think the people in the store just got used to him being there and there weret many people that seemed interested

I didnt choose to get my ipod, it was a birthday gift. I would take it back in a second if I could and replace it with some thing else. and i dont need sonmg selection so long as all the songs on the player are songs I like, and if I come accross one I dont feel like listening to, you skip, no problem. and I could use a mp3 that holds 7000 songs. I am an avid music listener, and if i had the means to get the songs would easily fill fill up a jukebox.

That is 100% wrong.
the iPod controls about 55% of the market, about 25% is controlled by the Dell DJ, and then 20% by various other MP3 Players. Note: this only includes Harddrive players, not flash players. If you talk about ALL MP3 Players,
20% iPod, 8% Dell DJ, 1% Shuffles, 6% other Harddrive players and 65% other flash-players.

Speaking of which.. what about the creative ones? I know only 1 person who owns a dell DJ, 2 perhaps when my friend gets his.; about 234345436252134 with an ipod, and maybe 20 or so creative ones.

The DJ is not very popular with people age <20, because it is not as "Cool" as the iPod, in the eyes of most teens.

well in the eyes of this teen most teens are dumb asses, straight out. look at the whole gansta thing, and then the dubs and the ******* ass scions. and then we have the ipods, ads I said. my people are stupid. and as for my information that i gave on the ipods and crap, just what i have heard, dont take anything i say for fact unless i say it is a fact. most oof what i know is just things I pick up here and there.

I have a CD player in my car...It's loud and makes every trip better. Considering I have more CD's than MP3's, no need for an Mp3 player for me.

We share the same misfortune.. I guess.. ;)

I usually shy away from trends, because I know that they will dissipate. If it is something I actually agree with, then I will still use/wear it after the trend is over. Some of the gay ones I remember are;

Pokemon

Magic Cards

Yo-Yos
