If you someday need to run away from the police at high speed (we hope that never happened that)...what's the car that you want to have at that moment that can give you a chance to win against the cops???

I love the Idea of an STI (or evo), or a AWD Lambo......
almost all the accidents that i see in the police chases are because the rear tires lost the traction.....so that's why i prefer a car with AWD to do that (i will never do that :D).

I'd have a Mercedes S65. Fast, but still blends in.

I think I would take my WRX actually. I mean its fully tuned for scca and autocross events, lays down sub 10 second quarter mile times, and is reliable. Plus the only exterrior mods are a set of rims, and a new front grill, well and the exhasut pipes. So I think that would be the car i'd take if i had to get away from the law...Not saying i havent already :)!!

I'd take a Viper, for obvious reasons.

used to have very decked out police cars in Alice Springs (centre australia), outside the town is OPEN speed limit highway either side, these cars had to be able to flag down ANYONE! lol

I doesnt matter whether it is a formula 1 car or an enzo, or anything, flashy cars would get caught easy, cars that cant take ramming or road blocks would fall easily too, so the large truck would be the only logical choice.

Best get away car? Well, it has to be really quick, powerful, nimble and lethal. I think the best getaway car is an F-15.

I'm going to say a Commanche helicopter, it's stealth, and I can land it in a backyard, that is fake, which retracts into the ground, a la James Bond style.

I would choose the Dodge M4S from "The Wraith", starring charlie sheen. It's a supernatural car (how stupid is that?), and its indestructable and takes no gas. Plus its a TT I-4 440whp with a top speed of 195.

I agree. I'm all about the F350. And I wouldn't take a Lambo or anything flashy either. I live in the Twin Cities, MN and no one owns anything like that out here, so you'd be nailed in a heart beat.

I would take an S4 or M5. Just for the fact that if you slap a curb or have an incident where you go off road a little it won't fall apart.

Chance's are if you're running from the cops they know which car you're in. So stealth is out of the question for me. So..I need something really absurdly fast, and what better than a nice Saleen S7TT?

Acually you can outrun a helicopter if you are on a straight freeway because most helicopters cant go over 120 or 130 mph...

The best car would be something that is common and in common colours obviously and not have any stand out stickers or cosmetic alterations.
I would say something like a TVR Sagaris, ha nah joking i dunno this is actually quite a hard topic because people will try and catch you out with the car u choose and say its **** huh.
I reckon it has to be 4WD/AWD so they can drive anywhere-this slims it down, imprezas,evos maybe,or even better the new RS4 or something like that. VW R32 is quite a good one, or the audi A3 3.2quattro.
Or just go all out and get a tank!

up here you see tons of corvettes, so that amkes them relativly common, add a lingenfelter kit onto one of those and it will still look stock, form the out side. escape any cop, land or air, and good camoflouge if you get it in the most common corvette colr, Red :). thats would be my escape vehicle, or my dads hyabusa. ditch it if need be, beat the cops, and all that.

A White/red Honda civic hatchback with a B16A SiRII A S4C tranmission with a B16A2's final drive.. a nice little turbo kit w/ some head studs and a good hondata tuning program along with a 3" exhaust tube poured with a 1/4" teflon(Bedliner if you're short on $$$$)...silent as a whisper...but will outrun anything the cops can throw at you..

against police your best friend is a combination of speed, handeling, and ability to blend in...once your out of a cops line of site, it's as simple as going with the flow of traffic

I've heard of helicopters and media...But there is a 10 minute buffer between the time it takes to dispatch a police/news chopper...atleast it's a 10 min buffer in mytown.....I don't know about you, but I can do ALOT of driving in 10 minutes...As for IF the chopper is nearby..... Phoenix is littered with No Fly Zones.....Wouldn't be that difficult if you know those locations. Not to mention the indian reservations which pursuit isn't allowed...and the mexico border less than 3 hrs away.

Dude, you supposedly own a CamAro SS, and you can't even spell its name properly. And its not only in this thread, in your other posts you have too. And you're right, a Camaro SS vs. a Police interceptor would be close, but in the end I'd put my money on the interceptor.
