No. You would drop an SR20DET into a NISSAN.

The 13B is fine enough anyway, and if it isn't, you can always bump it up to a 20B.

The rotary engine on the FC had a tendency of blowing its apex seals because of the high heat and pressure. Still I probably wouldn't want to swap in an sr20det into an rx7. I have heard of an LS1 rx7, but the car basically becomes a drag car at that point. Probably becomes too front heavy to maintain its near 50/50 balance so it probably won't perform like it used to.

Yeah, i've heard of a supra engine going into an RX-7, so i guess it's possible for show and stuff.

I have seen the SR20 engine into the Series 1 RX7. I personaly wouldnt do the swap because, as M technik said, the 13B is fine, and there is always the 20B.

Have seen SR20DET in RX7 but for you people who doesn't know the difference between the 13B and 20B Rotary engine. The 13B only has 2 rotors while the 20B has 3 rotors. Friend is buying a RX7 that has a 13B in it and plans on swapping but I probly would do a SR20DEt swap in a RX7 to be different.

IMO.. the RX-7's rotary engine is just too awesome to trade for some 2 liter turbo.

No it would not make any sense to do that because a rotory motor is much better for racing if that is what you plan to do with it
