Nope, sorry. Not that i don't like them, though. I just consider cars to be way more interesting and beautifull.

McLaren F1 LM
Aug 13, 2003, 9:41 AM

jimkk29
Aug 13, 2003, 9:45 AM
I think it's the fastest bike in the whole world.
Here are 2 pics :

jimkk29
Aug 13, 2003, 9:57 AM

McLaren F1 LM
Aug 13, 2003, 10:00 AM
the acceleration must kickass on that babe :D

jimkk29
Aug 13, 2003, 10:04 AM
Sure. It's 0-100 km/h in less than 3 secs, and continues to accelerate like a monster!!
That's because it has a 180 PS (!) engine and weights approximately only 250 kilos!!
(Correct me if I'm mistaken)

McLaren F1 LM
Aug 13, 2003, 10:08 AM
sweet man it's faster than the mclaren because the mclaren it's 0-62 mph in 3.0 and dude i've got one more questino how much does that kickass sweet babe is :D

jimkk29
Aug 13, 2003, 10:12 AM
You mean money? The official site gives a price of 11K dollars. (taxes not included)
So the final price should be 15K-20K maximum.

McLaren F1 LM
Aug 13, 2003, 10:15 AM
it's really expansive it's the same speed has the mclaren and it's 20'000'000 dollards us or can and the mclaren is 100.000.000.000 dollard us :D

jimkk29
Aug 13, 2003, 10:17 AM

McLaren F1 LM
Aug 13, 2003, 10:20 AM

DarkVenom666
Aug 13, 2003, 11:19 AM
I know the Hayabusa. But.... I don't like it very much ( please, don't hurt me! ). To round, like a tuned Beetle in a motor shape :? .

jimkk29
Aug 13, 2003, 11:23 AM
Personally, I think it looks very agressive, beautiful, and with a low centre of gravity. But also look at the specs!

DarkVenom666
Aug 13, 2003, 11:36 AM
The specs are impressive indeed. But it's still not one of the best bikes i've seen. I think Harleys suits my style better 8) .

McLaren F1 LM
Aug 13, 2003, 12:38 PM
yeah the specs are good but there's better bike this bike is 1299 cc i've seen a bike 2600cc now that's fast

McLaren F1 LM
Aug 14, 2003, 7:10 PM
The specs are impressive indeed. But it's still not one of the best bikes i've seen. I think Harleys suits my style better 8) .

jimkk29
Aug 15, 2003, 9:37 AM
There might be a bike with 2600cc, but Hayabusa is the fastest one. That's guaranteed. Anyway, Harleys are also nice. Nice engine sound.

DarkVenom666
Aug 15, 2003, 10:10 AM
Yes, all Harley's sounds are beautifull, i think. They sound a whole lot better than those Japanese.

McLaren F1 LM
Aug 15, 2003, 1:06 PM
yeah but i find that the japannese one are more my style :D but haley's is like 35'000'000 and that expensive for a bike :D

jimkk29
Aug 15, 2003, 1:39 PM
Yes, all Harley's sounds are beautifull, i think. They sound a whole lot better than those Japanese.
Well... I don't really know... I am thrilled at the sound of a fast japanese supersport bike!
They sound like a monster coming through!!

DarkVenom666
Aug 15, 2003, 7:39 PM
Hmmm, i think i can't agree. The Harley sounds agressive, brutal, powerfull. While the Japanese manufacturers produce sound at a certain way, so you think the motorcycle's fast. It's like those sounds scream: I'm fast, i'm fast, i'll show you, watch this  !

McLaren F1 LM
Aug 16, 2003, 5:09 AM

Motorcylces are pretty cool and can be loads of fun when you can handle them. This is the only Bike I'd ever want though...

http://www.bbakira.co.uk/stills/kaneda/kan10.jpg

Until they make an actual production model of Kanedas bike from Akira, bikes are just gonna be cool to look at for me, but thats okay by me.

I guess that's from a cartoon. ^^

NiGiz
Aug 19, 2003, 7:59 PM
If we'r talking about street bikes then i prefer the Busa and the R1.
If we'r talking about custom i prefer what else..Harley of course...
If we'r talking about touring then any BMW touring bike is superb.
If we'r talking about enduro/cross and SM then any KTM will be the best choise...

So said NiGiz :)

Raith83
Aug 19, 2003, 8:18 PM
I guess that's from a cartoon. ^^

Okay, well, I can't be tooooo much in shock. Akira is the definitive Anime movie. It was made in 1988, but you'd think it was made maybe three years ago. It's beautifully animated, has a huge storyline, and did I say it looked awesome? You need to see the orange beast of a motorcyle the character Kaneda rides in action. That might make you agree with me. Hehe. Hope you can find it somewhere without too much trouble.

NiGiz
Aug 19, 2003, 8:23 PM
Akira along with Ghost in the Shell r the top 2 anime movies raith

jimkk29
Aug 21, 2003, 7:01 AM
I've really never heard of them... :?

Raith83
Aug 21, 2003, 10:57 AM
Thats okay. I'm just obsessed with the obscure and low radar profile things in life. But yes, I definitly reccomend you try to find a copy of Akira somewhere, rent or whatever, and watch it. Changed my whole perspective on things, like I've done so many many times.

I love Aprilia and Ducati, but I believe Ducati is better!

A pic:

Alfa Romeo 156 GTA
Aug 24, 2003, 4:33 PM
Yeah like that bike very much!!

He is indeed amazing fast!! but i don't know yet or i like the design?
The design of the nose is quite good , but look to that rear side :( i'm a bit dissapointed than :(

But it's a very nice bike , although i would never buy a Yamaha don't know why but i would go for the Suzuki or Aprilia i think..

But what do you think about the new Ducati 999??

http://www.ducati.com/docs_eng/photogalleries2/SBK/images/f05.jpg

http://www.ducati.com/docs_eng/photogalleries2/SBK/images/f03.jpg

I think it looks good but they have to watch out they not making the design more futuristic than it now already is..
And .. He's not fast enough :( Gsx-R 1000 , Yamaha R1 , Aprilia RSV MILE are faster :(

greetz : Danny!

jimkk29

Very nice bikes, all of them!
I liked that Benelli very much, and the Aprilia too!
But what is that MV Agusta?? :? I don't know it!
Although the most beautiful Japanese bike is the Hayabusa for me!
I wonder where we could find any stats like 0-100 times or top speed.

Alfa Romeo 156 GTA
Aug 26, 2003, 11:54 AM
yeah Hayabusa is nice but not my favorit!

Well i love the SPeed of that Hayabusa it's the fasted Masive PRODUCTION motorcycly i thought?
well All bike's(supersport's and sport toures ect. ) are almost from 0-100km/ the same all around 3.0 sec.

Topspeed hmm Ducati is not the fasted..... i thought GSX-R 100o ( standard bike )
The GSX-R 1000 runs 314 km/h i thought? <--- newest!

well , it's AMAZING FAST!

Greetz : Danny!

MV Agusta is Italian too! ;)

jimkk29
Aug 27, 2003, 8:48 AM
I'm sure Hayabusa is the fastest, with 320 km/h stock! With a little tuning, could go easily over 350!
Btw, one of the fastest too is Honda CBR-1100. You know it? You like Hondas?

Here's a pic:

http://www.hondamotorcycles.com/images/model/c028_029_030_031_photos_all/motorcycles/2003/CBR1100XX/largeHoriz/CBR1100XX_large_01.jpg

I like it very much! Very fast and nice!

Alfa Romeo 156 GTA
Aug 27, 2003, 3:06 PM

well i really like the CBR600RR

I've donwloaded that movie's from Kazaa i 've two movies first the Hayabusa wins at the second movie the Supra wins :) WOW that car must be REALLY fast!

Greetz : Danny!

jimkk29
Aug 30, 2003, 6:44 AM
Yeah but keep in mind the following:

1. The Hayabusa is stock and the Supra is heavily tuned.
2. The Hayabusa costs ~15K euro but the tuned Supra would cost 100K euro!!

Alfa Romeo 156 GTA
Aug 30, 2003, 8:07 AM
yeah ok ,,, but the Supra weight 1100 kg.?
And the Hayabusa...... 250kg?

So that is not fair either :P

But anyway it's fun to see... hehe

Well, I chose the busa because (for me) it's the best in design but mainly because it's the most powerful and the fastest!!

Alfa Romeo 156 GTA
Sep 06, 2003, 12:35 AM
Yeah Jim , i understand , but here in Holland with not enough space for that Hp's in a bike i choose for an GSX-R 1000...

The Hayabusa seems MUCH to heavy by me and is not fun to drive in a city :(
So GSX-R 1000 is still fast enough for me and , a bit less weight i guess..

OH yes and i prefer the design over the Busa design ;)

the YFZ-R1, of course! But i'd take it in blue. There is just something about yamaha. They have such cool bikes. MY favorite bike, however, is the kawasaki Z1000. There is nothing like it. It's soo evil looking! I also like the Ducatti 999R, but for $33,000, it's not cheap. My second fav bike is the '79 Honda goldwing. In my opinion, the first big sportbike. When i get my liscene in 2 years, i'm getting a ninja 250. It's about 3 grand and can out accelerate an M3!

jimkk29
Sep 06, 2003, 6:03 PM
Oh yes I forgot about the Ninja too!
Which is the fastest and most powerful Ninja? Any pics or specs??

Mopar68
Sep 06, 2003, 11:10 PM
I don't know for sure, but i think that the 250 Ninja (the bottom of the line) can do a 0-60 in 4.3. I can imagine the ZX-12R could do a -3 0-60 sprint.

think about this..

Buell Firebolt XB-12R specs

103hp

395 lbs

to equal in this in car terms, take a Jaguar S-type R. Put it on a diet to make it lose 96 pounds. Put it on steroids to make the engine produce 1030hp from 390hp.

I know i put this comparo on another post, but it's still fun to post.

McLaren F1 LM
Sep 07, 2003, 6:14 AM
the Hayabusa of course it's the niceast and fastest :D

Mopar68
Sep 08, 2003, 3:45 PM
Yeah, thats true. I love the fact that for $12,000, you can get a motorcycle that can accelerate from 0-60 in 2+ seconds and have a top speed of 180 (and thats the Horsepower!). For $12,000, you could get a kia Rio. Which one would you get. Tough choice. And, every motorcyle in excistance has a top speed over it's horsepower. God i love motorcycles.

Thats just a theoretical top speed, it would never get anywhere near that.
Motorcycles actually have a hard time even with tons of power getting past 200 mph
because they have LOTS of drag.

Technically, the Tomahawk is not a bike.
And Nik, why the R6? The R1 is almost the same but with a bigger engine!

The turbo is not stock, the stock model is NA. But there were many ppl who put turbos to their Hayabusas. :D
