So just deal with that, anywho, the Skyline's other appeal to me is its history, it was first built for the Prince of Japan back in the late 50's and early 60's. After a few years of production it got into the racing scene and, abbreviated as hell, it simply dominated for about 20 years in the JGTC and some international races too. At one point the R33's won thirty-two, or twenty-two races, in a row...It was later banned because the other teams gave up and declared it "unbeatable". So as for my choice of R33 GT-R over an R34 GT-R, that's just a personal style choice. But I wouldn't pass up any of them! :P

Man, just read back a bunch of posts, but basically don't just say,"I like the skyline" and that's it, add why you like it, the style, power, whatnots.

Skyline for me, its a much more focussed machine than the supra although both wieght waaay to much

Yeh, the first GT-R was made in 1969 originally made by Prrince Motors, which was later taken over by Nissan.

Anyway on the topic of the Skyline comin' out in the early years, that pic is the proof. But in the 50's,about ten years prior to that car, there were prototypes out roaming around. The politcal climate at that time in Japan and the far east in general called for cars for royalty and governemental figures to be a little shrowded in the technical aspect. Same is still true today, the President uses, if I'm not mistaken, a Cadillac with 3 inch thick bomb-proof glass. :shock:

too much downforce? i would think it would be not enough downforce.

Nonono...By too much downforce, I mean it's drag limited, but the car is pretty much a race car, so you can change the amount of downforce via the wing and splitter and louvres on the car. But either way the car can go above 165mph, but that seems to be a fast enough speed for anyone and it'll handle incredibly at that speed.

And how this relates to the topic?? The Skyline with the long-ass acronym steering system coupled with good aero tricks can do it likewise.

Yup the Mosler! that's the one i was thinking of...and for as it relates, it doesnt. i sometimes deviate from topics time to time

I was shocked to learn that the R33 GT-R will try to kill u. Apparently, its trick computer and 4WD stuff will detect a slide and then transfer power to the rear wheels to make u drift, which also gives the added risk of a spin.

Watch out people the R33 GTR is out to get you. :lol:

i think supra is better and RWD r more of a sports car(thats just my opinion) skyline is the best car to modify but with that much money u can modify a supra to higher level then skyline
