My dads maserati crashed a 7 tonne pick up at a u-turn, drivers side impact, my dad got a fractured scapula.

The car has been cancelled, i.e. we get compensation from insurance -10% per annum, so we get 80% of what we bought it for

Too bad for the Maserati . But , imagine how it would be if you had crashed to a truck not a pick-up . Frontally I mean . Now that would hurt even more . Too bad for your dad too .

That sucks. Quattroportes are some of the most beautiful cars in the world, shame to see it in such a state. :( Glad your father is OK but damn that lorry driver!

This is bad. Good news are that your dad is safe. Bad news are that this wonderful maserati was destroyed.

Cars can be replaced, a life can't. Just remember that.
Good to hear he is ok. He is lucky, things could have gotten much worse.
