well you have to cruise around late at night like at 11:00 to 5:00. that is where the street racing is at. that is what my bro says anyways. he knows a few guys at his job(s) that drive 11 - 14 second street sleepers. and they hang around areas late at night. around where I live we have a few of those areas that you see in the supra videos and that is where the people hang at night according to my bro's work pals and him.
and I believe him because around 12:30 he was driving me home from a movie, and we saw 2 supras that looked like they were heavily suped up ( I say this because they had HKS, JUN, Greddy, and what not decals on them ) I dont know if they were racing, leaving a race area, or going to the race locations.
all I can really say is to go out at night and go looking for areas where you think they hang. other then that maybe someone else here has stories they want to share.

Late night:11-3am, public places like pizza places, donut shops, etc...Either way, streetracing isn't real racing, don't get me started on that... :?

it is more of a way to make or loose a quick buck :o . know that you say that Ghalos.
you should just go down to a local quarter mile track and interveiw people there. I bet they will say stuff like it is the rush you get, and stuff like that. sometimes local quater mile tracks were air strips. well the closest track where I live used to be an air strip.

Why don’t you ask some of the students that have cars at your school...

I actually IM'ed this girl, nice lady, but talked to her about it for about 30 mins, gave her the info I know. She told me she's lookin' more for the reasons that auto enthusiasts be it streetracing or legal, quality, skill-requiring track racing have for spending alot on their cars.

If any one is interested still in the seattle street races, their actually in Renton and Kent, about 100-200 cars gather near IKEA by the Jack in the Box, Cheveron , 7-11 places like that and they actually race in places like "blue light" the offices and E.M. way which are about 10-20 miles away from the places they gather. People start gatheing there around 11:30 and will return to these meeting spots after a race has been busted.
