I know Evos have a lot of power for a stock car, but I heard that the trany goes bad real quick does anyone know anything about this problem.

I'm pretty sure its a really good transmission. Depends on how you drive. Soemone whos bad with shifters can easily damage and put more wear on the tranny than there should be. :x

Totally agreed... Any car trany should run for a long time, all depends on how you treat it... If you rev your RPMs too high when having a standard car, isnt good at all... If so, consider taking a lesson... :D But considering it's a Mitsubishi, I'm sure it would run great.

I'm sure that if you treat the car good you won't have any problems.

I agree... if u don't abuse the tranny and don't slam it into the gears it should be fine
