yup, and a Ferrari 355, but I was joking around earlier about us not having any scary cars, we also have beasts like the EVO8 police car I saw a few weekends back.
I have heard only rumours of the F1 car, never seen the pics, but it sounds realistic, since we've had porsche's and lotus's in the past as well, so why not a 3 seated police car :P its better than 2 seat :wink:

we have dodge vipers cop cars in USA. you just dont see them to much. and our under cover cars are BMW m3, and mustangs and other cars. but most of the cars are police crown vics.

our undercover cars that I have seen are either black, dark blue and even seen 1 green car, and those that I have seen are a few Impreza's, Jaguars, Range Rover Vogue, Mercedes C-class AMG, BMW M5 and an M3 (both about 2001 spec cars) and a VW Golf :) I might have seen others, but the lights in the grill were not flashing and no sirens, so i did not know :P

if your street smart you can useally tell when they are under cover. if you look real close it is easy.

And Volvos! We have lots of them!

they are "gifts" from the manufacturers normally, a couple are re-possesed cars.
For example, Subaru UK gives some cars to Prodrive (WRC Rally team guy's) who fit them with police stuff and rally suspension etc, and then pass them on the the police force...

Also, M_C, I think you will find that it used to cost us £20,000 a week, but no longer after it was decomissioned, as I am sure this was the first time I heard about the car, when reading an article in the paper about its police days over and only used as a show police car driven by one of the counties forces...
